That is the radio version. To check your firmware, boot to your bootloader screen (Hold power and Vol Down) and the firmware version should show for the line OS.
All right. I did that and it gives me the radio version I posted earlier, and HBOOT -1.44.0000, OpenDSP-v31.120.274.0617.

That's all I get. Do we have a winner??

That's odd. Maybe the Sprint version doesn't report the version on the bootloader screen.
If you did a fastboot getvar all
It should report a version and that should be your firmware version.
If you don't have fastboot/adb installed then just use the older version if you never did an OTA update while still on the sprint ROM. If you did an update on the sprint rom then use the 1.31 version.

Ok, I'll hop on fastboot when I get home tonight. Thanks again for the response!

Alright, I couldn't get fastboot to work because my drivers are aparently screwed up. I do not recall if I did the OTA when I first got the phone. I just installed OMJ's 1.31 based ROM and it works fine. Should I be safe to go ahead and install the 1.31 version of your reset? Sorry for all of the questions.

Yes, if you have working touchscreen on his rom then the stock 1.31 will work fine.

Ok, here goes nothing... :fingers-crossed:

UPDATE: Flashed with no problems, touch works, no issues. Downloading the 3.04 OTA. Signal sucks at work, may have to do it over wifi at home. I will keep posted.

UPDATE 2: Everything went smooth! Now on the 3.04 firmware and everything seems to be working as it should! Thanks again for this awesome tool!

Easiest return to stock...bar none!

Worked like a charm for me as well. Thanks so much for the super easy method of returning to stock and updating to the newest OTA.

Ok, so I flashed the 1.31 version of this, Did the OTA to 3.04 and I am having one issue. My inbound/outbound phone calls sometimes do not work. It is real hit or miss. About 50% of the time when I make a call, I get, "We are unable to complete your call at this time." Same with incoming calls, I've been told people are getting a similar message. Any ideas on what could cause this? Was never an issue before. My current radio version is 1.00.20.0913_3.
Just for giggles, I re-rooted and installed OMJ's 3.04 based ROM and have the exact same issue...
Any ideas?

Anyone know where I can find the 3.04.651.2 RUU?

Sorry man. I can't help much on that issue because I don't have a Sprint phone.
You could try re-flashing the current radio, but the OTA update should have done that.
I have not seen a RUU for the new version yet.
Sorry bud.

Someone asked for this so I have posted a package for the new 4.3 version.

Guru Reset M7 Sprint 3.04.651.2

Hey man. I kind of got my phone in a half flashed firmware weirdness or something, not really sure to be honest. My phone is working fine. Got the 4.3 rom going and have hboot 1.55 but some stuff is just a little weird. Would taking this ROM here, then manually downloading and installing the 4.3 OTA through the stock recovery work just to make sure I have all the proper firmware applied?

3.04 is the version with the OTA applied.
If you wanted to reset everything including firmware then you should use the 1.31 package.

Sorry I didn't clarify. I'm s-on. Basically what happened was I was s-off and on 4.3 but I had to send my phone in so I wanted to make the bootloader look stock so I tried to relock and go back to s-on...long story short I did it in a strange (and wrong) order and wound up with s-on and the 4.3 firmware. But then I tried to RUU back to 1.29 not knowing it would fail due to the mismatching hboots. Somewhere along the line something went wrong because adb no longer recognizes the phone (adb devices command) unless I'm in fastboot. And the last time I tried stock recovery it was saying unable to mount e: sd card or something along those lines, and any option I selected in the stock recovery screen immediately kicked back an error message and rebooted the phone. Also, if I "relock" the bootloader it bootloops until I unlock it again, no matter what. I'm just trying to do something, anything, that can at least ensure I have all firmware the way it's supposed to be, and as of right now, I don't believe it is. I'm thinking of getting a Nexus 5 and would like this phone to be back to normal before I try selling it to someone.

Even with S-on and newer firmware, you can flash the 1.31 package and stock recovery and it will do the OTA update again and it will also update the firmware again.
Shouldn't that be the state you would want to sell it? Latest firmware and latest stock rom?

Oh yeah, they updated the touchscreen drivers in the OTA. You can either use a OTG cable and USB mouse to accept the OTA or just flash the 3.04 version back and the software should match the firmware. Not sure what to advise about the issue you were having.
I guess you can;t S-off again to be able to run the RUU?

Sorry, I do not have a Sprint version of the phone to test anything for you.

Word. Thanks man. I've got a USB hub at work i'll try on Monday. For now I flashed the insertcoin sense 5.5 rom and all is fine. Man I really hope s-off is possible on this newest hboot. Thanks for your work, this is a really good idea.

Hoping someone that has done this could help me. I installed the stock ROM zip that matched my firmware. Went through the installer and wiped data. Rebooted everything seemed ok. Started the OTA download for 4.3. Downloaded that. Then I was getting a message to install supersu. I installed that it went through TWRP and rebooted. Now I'm getting a message to install the OTA I downloaded. I click install now and it puts me into TWRP. How can I get it to install?

I'm s-off and on the original hboot. If that matters.

Thanks!
