Hoping someone that has done this could help me. I installed the stock ROM zip that matched my firmware. Went through the installer and wiped data. Rebooted everything seemed ok. Started the OTA download for 4.3. Downloaded that. Then I was getting a message to install supersu. I installed that it went through TWRP and rebooted. Now I'm getting a message to install the OTA I downloaded. I click install now and it puts me into TWRP. How can I get it to install?

I'm s-off and on the original hboot. If that matters.

Thanks!
You need to select to install the stock recovery when installing the rom. When the installer finishes and you see TWRP (running in memory but no longer installed) and when it asks you if you want to install SU say No.
Then after the OTA is downloaded again it will reboot into the stock recovery and install the OTA.

Word. Thanks man. I've got a USB hub at work i'll try on Monday. For now I flashed the insertcoin sense 5.5 rom and all is fine. Man I really hope s-off is possible on this newest hboot. Thanks for your work, this is a really good idea.
Let me know how this goes. I am having similar issues with firmware(just radio really), and I'm trying to figure out a way to fix it. I'm also S-on...

Sorry man. I can't help much on that issue because I don't have a Sprint phone.
You could try re-flashing the current radio, but the OTA update should have done that.
I have not seen a RUU for the new version yet.
Sorry bud.
I am going to try to re-download and re-flash the 1.31 package. I'll be able to use a USB mouse with USB OTG to accept the 3.04 OTA, correct? And just to confirm, I would not be able to re-flash the current radio with S-on, right? I'm so pissed I didn't go s-off before I did this, LOL! Still no s-off for hboot 1.55 from what I understand...

Thank you again for all of your help!

Yes, you can take the OTA with a USB mouse and OTG cable.
You do not need S-off to flash a radio.

Ok, refreshed new radio, same issue. Flashed 1.31 radio, same issue. I'mgoing to try the 1.31 reset, downl oad 3.04 other and see what happens. If I still have the same problem I'm going to take the phone back to sprint and see if they'll hook me up.... Wish me luck!

Correct, you can't use the RUU with S-on because you have a higher firmware version and you can't downgrade without S-off.
Hello, this is exactly what in was looking for, thank for this!

I'm currently on flex's stock with goodies 5.5 firmware 3.04. If I run the corresponding zip, will the current radios work?

Thanks in advance.

I am not sure. I can not test because I don't have a Sprint device.
This is basically straight stock kernel and rom software and recovery only.

If you run the 3.04 reset, it will not touch your radio. If your radio works now, it will work after the flash.

Yes, you can take the OTA with a USB mouse and OTG cable.
You do not need S-off to flash a radio.
I re-tried the 1.31 reset and it worked. The first time I downloaded it over the 4G network. I also downloaded the OTA over the 4G network the first time I tried this. My radio has been giving me fits ever since. Finally, I downloaded 1.31 reset over WIFI, then made sure the OTA downloaded over WIFI, and my phone is like new again! No radio issues, everything is perfect. Hope this helps some people...

Thanks a ton to Crushalot!!

OK so I tried to root via qbkings video but then it said I had no super user. So I wanted to unroot via qbking but there is the issue many are having with the 1.29-1.31 ruu version. I turned s-off again and I still have twrp on my phone. So do I just flash this and will it return to stock or do I turn s-on and then run this. Is this a rom or ruu?

There is no RUU for 3.04 unfortunately. This is the closest thing. Just flash it like a ROM and it will return you to stock, recovery and all if you want(see Aroma Installer screen shots on OP).

I wouldn't be able to even though I have su on my phone and did root checker it said no root access? Or would SU matter?

Ok so what I did and whats wrong (sort of)

1. I followed these instructions on rooting from QBKing77 for the HTC One. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QU7vi388dMk (unlock bootloader and then root after)

2. After installing Twrp recovery and making a backup I setup the phone and then used Root Check to make sure I had root. It said I did not.

3. I didn't know what to do from there so I decided to unroot it and just wait to see if he updates his root video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1g5gEf2wgS4 (Unroot)

4. Ok so going through the process I turned S-On back on. And then I was going to use the RUU file that I downloaded from QBKing77, but after the HTC RUU software went through the process it says Error. I can't remember what it said, I think something along the lines that I don't have 1.29 RUU or 1.31 RUU.

5. I can still use my phone but I can't install custom Roms or go back to stock (unroot) but I still have Twrp as my recovery and I can't removed SU (even though I don't have it.

I Just want to go back to stock like right out of the box so I am able to get Sense 5.5 in the future. I am currently S-Off Again.

If you have S-off then you should be able to run the RUU and that should reset everything back to factory stock. Lock bootloader and then use:
http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/ruu_m7_wls_jb_50_sprint_1-29-651-7-zip/

Or if you want to user RUU zip in fastboot then use this:
http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/ruu-zip-m7_wls_jb_50_sprint_1-29-651-10_ruu_decrypted-zip/
