Stock Rom T835 [ARK4] DeKnoxed

hello,

I made this TWRP flashable zip from December ARK4 Samsung firmware, using SuperRKitchen. It's deKnoxed and untouched apart from the lightest of debloated apps. Everything else is untouched and as per Samsung firmware. No root is included or any other mods or additions. I made this for myself, but offer it here for any interested parties. I'm not a dev, script warrior or ROM master. Just a guy with a T835. I was already on ARK4, but I include the ARK4 vendor image if you need to flash in twrp. It's v4 as it took me 3 attempts to make it! You just need to flash Magisk and/or Modesty Kernel if you want.

I don't get my tab s4 until tomorrow, but I'd like to thank you for making this. I know I'll end up using this when I inevitably screw up using one of the roots or debloats.

You're welcome. It's a great tablet. My first Samsung device after nexus' - very impressed with this tab

I'm not sure - but would think it doesn't. You can try though, just back up before you do and restore if not

To flash ROM you'll need TWRP installed. https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga.../recovery-twrp-3-2-3-1-galaxy-tab-s4-t3843211.

Once TWRP is installed and working, wipe system, data etc

Then flash the ROM zip

Flash kernel & Magisk if you require

Thank you OP! Can you please help me understand, what does deknoxed mean? I know Knox is Samsung security, but what would deknoxed be? Less bloat or some functional advantage?

Removing the knox app that may inhibit root manger or interfering with system apps. It

Thank you for your efforts. Having rooted I had a rigmarole to go thru to apply this update. It was so easy, just flashed with TWRP and I still had root, TWRP, and all my apps data and settings.
I hope that you will do the same for further firmware updates as they come out.

There is one for Hong Kong and one Unknown. Are you able to provide some basic instructions on how to brew the custom firmware please?
