Stock Rom very low overall volume?

I just reinstalled the stock rom after months of being on Liquid Remix and i noticed that the max speaker/headphone volume of the stock rom is probably like 75% of what the custom rom was. If i could guess it might be tied to that new "Audio Amplifier" feature in android P, but what do i know? Anyone else dealing with the same issue? can this be fixed?

I think all the aftermarket rooms had louder in call volume than the stock rom.

That was one of my main quirks with stock
