I wish to swap from CPW to unbranded uk official stock rom Dr Ketan. Any suggestions. I know i need a multicsc so i can change From CPW. Appreciate your works on here by the way. Salute!!!

OK this is what i did initaly with "CODE_N7000XLC1_CL1003701_REV02_user_low_ship.tar.md5"

get null,

Then two times with "GT-N7000-MULTI-CSC-OXALC1.tar.md5"

And i always have null when typing?

Open PC odin
select CSC tab, n point to ROM file
Flash (No re-partition)
It should work.

I just updated to the LC1 (KOR) open europe firmware(3files=wipe) but I want to downgrade to the original LA6 (XEN=Netherlands) but I can't find a 3 file=wipe firmware of it. Does anybody have this. Without the 3 files version I can't downgrade because my phone is stuck at 'touch android to go on'

Go to recovery, wipe cache n wipe data, hope your problem should solve.
Ever error, or by any means you want to downgrade, select single file ROM, not necessary you must have 3 file to wipe.
Downgrade with flashing any single file ROM, then just wipe data.

ans: open germany is non-wipe

can i use this file with CWM with option keep CF Root? i'm on LB2 with CF root LB1.

later after LC1 i can update new CF kernel LC1. am i right?

while i was trying to update my note to 2.3.6 i found out that there are 2 versions of arabic firmware
N7000JPKK2
N7000JPLA1
i currently have the " N7000JPKJ4 -2.3.5 2011 october - N7000OJPKJ3 - United Arab Emirates"
which one should i download, i'll install using cwm recovery to keep the root, so is there any difference between them ?

anyone ?

hmm.. i dont know why the update doesn't show up in your phone.. but you can root it and then upgrade to JPLA1 as you have mentioned which is the latest UAE ROM. u can use CWM as per the instructions in the first/second posts..

vol UP + pwer and center button should get you to Recovery

(Stock recovery isn't as versatile as custom recoveries like Clockworkmod but hopefully following Dr. Ketan's advice will get things moving again.)

its vol up + pwer and center button for getting into recovery. what he meant by flashing rom again, you can flash de rom again using cwm/mobile odin..if wipe cache/data doesn't work.

what do you need - you have PLUS branded Note ?
do you flash via odin from download mode ?
