Anyone running into "Couldn't install on USB storage or SD card" error?

Nevermind, the custom kernel fixed it. Thanks everyone. should have tried that first.

Hi, I tried to flash the WWE Deodexed version, but after some seconds installing the phone rebooted by itself and stuck in a white sceen with HTC logo.
So i could not flash this version and starting the phone wasn`t working.
Only way get the phone booting correct again was restoring with a TWRP Recovery backup.

Anyone else with this problem?

Did you flash boot.img inside with fastboot flash boot boot.img? And did you make a full wipe?

What is happening? Is the zip failing to install or you get successful flash but no boot?

Sent from my HTC One using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
The zip is failing to install, it starts for some seconds and then the phone reboots and then stucks on white HTC screen.
The flash is not successful.

Thanks

Uploaded new ones. Make sure to flash the right one, not the old one you had. I tested both and both flashed and booted fine.
Thanks for your work.

I flashed the WWE-Deodexed version on my One Mini from O2 Germany without a problem.
Until now it seems to be well done.

If there will be anything wrong or not working I will give you information about it here.

Hi, thanks for this jmz. :)

This is my first HTC phone and I haven't used an Android phone in almost 2 years after my Atrix 4G broke so I haven't been on the Android scene for a while. Can anyone make a quick guide on how to install this? My phone is currently completely stock.

Unlock bootloader with htcdev.com, flash a recovery and flash this rom with and boot.img in fastboot mode.

Thanks for this.

EDIT: I just flashed it through TWRP and it works. It took a couple of minutes to boot up, but I got my free 25GB of space for Dropbox and all of the AT&T bloat is gone. Mostly everything works, but I'm having weird issues, I'll try to re-flash tomorrow.

Did you flash the boot.img in fastboot? What kind of issues are you having?

I did.

Everything works fine, my only problem is that whenever I try to install an app that I already paid for I get: Error "Couldn't install on USB storage or SD card". I looked this up and the solution people have been posting is to unmount your external sdcard, install the app, then remount it which isn't possible for this phone. I've tried wiping /system, /data, /cache, and dalvik and re-flashing a different version (before I was using WWE DeOdex, now I'm using WWE Odex) and the same thing happens. The weird thing is that it only happens when I'm installing paid apps, free ones install fine. I have 10.08 GB of free space on the internal storage.

Did you try clearing cache of your Google play store app?

Do you have the custom kernel? I've always found this issue is kernel related (on multiple phones)..... :D

I did. I also did a full wipe including the internal sd card between flashes.

Nope, I'm using the stock kernel that comes with the zips in the OP.
