Stock to kitkat?

The path from stock to custom on the i777:

1. gather onto internal memory, or micro-sd:
   -Framaroot
   -Mobile Odin APK
   -Mobile Odin flash kernel for i777
   -i777_firmware.zip
   -Boot.img (extracted from i777-firmware.zip)
2. install and use framaroot
   ^^ uses an exploit to establish and manage root access
3. install mobile Odin and the mobile Odin flash-kernel
   ^^ the method that will NOT trip the custom-flash monitor
4. flash the boot.img via Mobile Odin
   ^^ flashes the kernel and recovery of the i777_firmware.zip, to ensure installation compatibility
   ^^ once flashed, you will no longer be able to boot into the stock android installation
5. boot to recovery
6. install i777_firmware.zip
7. enjoy

hai bro i got a i777 unlocked to use in india,my android version is 2.3.6 ginger bird i need to install a kitkat custom rom but it need cwm when i try to install cwm via my custom recovery it shows signature verification failed and i couldnt find any kernal to update via odin.plzzz help me

thanks 4 helping bro ,now updated to official jellybean from here http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/3/?download=15433,so still the above methods i can use to flash custom recovery right?

That is correct. Whether gingerbread or jellybean, the same procedure applies to go from stock to custom (without tripping the flash counter).
