stock video player

Hey all,
I got my S II about a week ago and I love it. My question or comment is; when playing videos using the stock video player, if i jolt, shake, tilt the phone a bit the video stops playing. It pauses, then I have to press play again. Is this normal for that player? Note, I used MX player from the market and it works fine. My phone is rooted.

Yes it is normal. Go to settings -> motion and disable that...see if it happens again and post back with results

hahah.. are you kidding me!! No where in that option says video motion or something related to it. That's why I never bothered to touch that. Feel like an idiot now

Yup tthis phone has its hidden jewels... Its actually the option "turn over to mute" in case you don't want to turn all of.motion off. Plz. Don't forget the thanks button.
