Stock wifi tether app on Straight Talk

So, i jumped ship to ST and now my wifi tether does not work anymore, it tells me to contact at&t. When i was using at&t i edited the telephony.db to pta and it was tethering fine, now it doesn't! I tried editing the ST field to pta but that completely disabled the data. I don't want to use any market apps, just the stock one. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Btw, I'm stock 1.85 rooted.

Use my Hotspot unlock in dev section to unlock it. I'm also on ST and had that issue with the other way of hacking tethering as that only worked if using a true AT&T simcard

pta APN (and Phone APN) only works for AT&T SIM. You need to change to some other APNs (both your data APN and the secrect tether APN in database) that works with ST.Try wap.cingular APN.

The only thing that worked is the gsm patch in the cleanrom thread.
