@olokos, think I found the issue, looks like wp_xperia_mod crashing on bootup.
Code:

Maybe try rebuild module here https://github.com/balika011/wp_mod ??
Seriously guys, messages like "it doesn't boot" does not help at all.

Also, why are you using super old toolchain gcc version 4.7.4 (crosstool-NG linaro-1.13.1+bzr2694 - Linaro GCC 2014.06 - Cortex-A15 ?
O.O
Thanks a lot mate although there's nothing like wp mod or byeselinux in my kernel at all. I simply disabled ric in defconfig without any hacks. I think there's some problem when you already have those modules in your system and then those modules try to disable something that doesn't exist. I'm not sure how to go around that... Enabling RIC isn't a good idea I think.

I'm using this old toolchain as it's pretty snappy and stable like hell. I haven't had a single kernel panic since first build.

Haha yea I was gonna mention that, should probably add it as a heads up for those who used the dual recovery tool which automatically installs those modules incase you get bombarded with "it doesn't work" thousands more times :p

Do you have any idea where these modules are getting installed to? /system/lib? I could just create a zip for people to install in case of a bootloop/crash on boot.

system/lib/modules

Just also need a way to restore, because if they stop using your kernel, recovery access will probably stop working.

Well, a way to restore would be flashing xzdr recovery again. There's no point having those libs if on unlocked bootloader anyway.

My first reaction seeing the boot image: are you f**king kidding with me -_- but thanks man! so far so good. will return for more details and results - can't really judge right now since my phone is basically blank (just unlocked bootloader).

Sounds awesome Anyway you could make one for z1 compact amami too bro
I could, but it would be a blind try. I wouldn't be sure if it'll boot or what would work and what wouldn't since I don't own the amami.

That bootimage represents my face when I started building the kernel and I had all sorts of problems + I had a terrible buildscript, so I had to repack stock boot.img with my kernel image every new build. It's all good now. Just a few keystrokes and my kernel is built and booting within 2 minutes. :victory:

On the other hand I simply don't really have any idea for a bootimage, if you have some graphics skills then contact me. :)

can you tell me how you flashed ?
Please check previous posts. There are some xzdr recovery for LB leftovers that propably stop it from booting as it's trying to disable ric which isn't even enabled, few posts back there are exact files mentioned that have to be deleted.

TWRP 3.0.0.0 RELEASED!
Guess what? I had to try it! :D
http://d-h.st/Oa3X

You can try it too, just download the new kernel above and flash it as usual! :)
It's not yet multirom TWRP, but it is fully working TWRP 3.0.0.0. Am I the first in the Z1 section with kernel that has TWRP 3.0.0.0?

I hope to add double tap to wake with deep sleep and f2fs, but that will take time :p

You have made us an awesome kernel. Thank you very much. I used my phone for hours and the temperature was such that i could still comfortably place it on my ears to answer call. Thank u. I suggest you don't go adding too many more features to the kernel so that it doesnt lose its stability. Thanks again. But why no force fastcharge?

If force fastcharge will make the kernel lose its stability, then we are better not having it. Thank you

when will the next update come ?
and yup, with a sony boot image :)
I just posted the next update above. It does have TWRP 3 instead of TWRP 2. I could basically name it OK Kernel V4.5, but for the sake of clarity I just named it V4 TWRP 3.0.0.0 edition, which is the lastest one, just featured on xda news page.

Would you rather have stock sony kernel boot image over the current one? Can somebody also tell me if you want both versions, with current custom logo and sony one? Separate images obviously. I don't think it's just worth to create two kernels just with different bootlogo only for one user.

I've been thinking about adding Qualcomm Quick Charge, but I don't think it's worth it and I don't have QC charger anyway so I couldn't test it anyway and I do not like blind building. I was actually using my kernel for a month or two before releasing it again for LP to iron out all possible issues to make sure it's stable. All that current "fast charge" does is just changing charging mode from PC mode (it's called something else, I don't remember the exact name) to AC mode. AC mode does work already when you use a proper cable with no data flowing. I'm a power user. I prefer hooking my phone up to a 2Amp charger with a proper cable so it's already charging pretty fast. Fast charge would just enforce AC Charge for all situations. It should and propably is pretty safe, but I just think it's not worth it. It's more like a dirty hack (in my opinion and I consulted it with somebody with better skills than mine). Fast charge is just FORCE AC CHARGE. Proper wall outlet with working USB cable does the same thing, without any hacks. I could implement it, but I don't really see a point. I did use kernels with that feature and I honestly haven't seen any difference. Placebo at most. I do have a hardware current and voltage meter for USB and I did use Ampere app from google play for measurments. In some situations it COULD speed up charging. But it could technically also slow down usb transfer rates on worst case scenario.

TL;DR
Fast charge forces particular charging mode which can be achieved with proper wall outlet and cable. I don't plan to implement it in the near future. I don't think it's really worth it.

Happy to hear that you enjoy my kernel. I'm also thinking about intellithermal that would balance temparature and performance better (under heavy load) than the temparature control that's already available.

I dont understand why my phone is still warm after i stopped using it for more than one hour. Kernel adiutor said my phone deep sleeps but the warmness says otherwise. Pls olokos is deep sleep really working on this kernel. Its a very very important feature.
