I just got done rooting my phone and installing ICS nearly one week ago Samsung Fascinate, yesterday someone decided to steal it.

Already changed pass words but still a lot of stuff i need on that phone with no way of getting it.

Now looking at a new phone which Samsung would you guys recommend as i plan to root it and install ICS on the new one as i liked it a lot.

Thanks

Bummer bro. Sorry to hear that. I wonder if your provider could help you. Is there a replacement you can use until the sgs3 comes out this summer?

Found a decent deal on a Samsung Fascinate 4G its already rooted would i be able to set this back to stock if i had to send it in for warranty as warranty is still valid until Aug.

There isn't a Samsung Fascinate 4G for Verizon. That's probably the TELUS version. Which carrier are you using?

Im with Telus.

Also thinking about getting a Samsung S2X but hoping it can be rooted and similar rom installed like the ICS as everything worked with that.

for future reference check out prey, lookout, findmydroid, etc. these are all apps that can track your phone if it gets stolen, you just send the phone a key word in a text message or something and it will enable gps and give you coordinates and stuffs.

yeah that is one course of action, if you hadn't changed your google password then you could go on the play store website on your computer and download plan b and it will install itself on the phone and help you find it.
