I may be wrong but once you do all this flashing and fun stuff I think it breaks the warranty

I'm not saying this is your problem but I flashed a cm nightly once and I didn't wipe the casch or delvik one of those eather way I did it wrong then once I booted the ROM I had horrible battery issues not even staying charged 4hrs I did some rereading and reflashed the correct way and boom issue fixed have you tried that ? Or its for sure a hardware issue ... And also this may be a stupid question but what about just buying a new battry ?

Step 1- Delete ROM Manager from your phone immediately.

Step 2- Odin back to stock from the OP.

Step 3- Read before you do anything else to your phone. I'm sure it was expensive.
If you still need help ask.

Been having too many issues running CM10.2 on my device.
Everytime I manually shut the phone off or reboot it, it just hangs at the Samsung Galaxy SII logo and doesnt budge.
Rebooting into recovery and doing a factory reset fixes the issue until I manually shut it off again.
If the phone does it itself (randomly, at that) it works without fail.

So im going to rollback to my backed up CM10.1 I have. Just want to make sure before I start it, what all do I need to do before hand?
eg. Wipe Delvik, Cache, Fac. Reset, etc.
Help is greatly appreciated.

Im going to rephrase my post, since that, and the front page, had nothing to answer my question.

I backed up my CM10.1 in CWM before I updated to CM10.2
I am now having issues, and want to restore that back up.
Is there anything I need to wipe before I restore that backup to prevent any problems?

No.

Just restore from the backup.

Okay, thank you. Thats all I needed to know.

I saw all kinds of info for flashing custom ROMs and whatnot, but nothing verbatim about rolling back through a backup.

Thanks again!
Switching between JB Roms...AOKP....and so on sometimes. ...sample. ....
If you backup cooked rom
And try CM type of rom
You will need to do FULL wiping
Do not try backup flash. ...
Be cause recovery don't backup preload
So you will need to do this first
Flash cooked again. .
Doing by instruction
Wait to install ...don't boot rom
Now do
Normal wipe
Flash backup
Now boot rom...
Success:cool:
Considering cooked version before 2.0
Cooked 2.0 have Aroma installer .....

Someday this will all be fixed with a brand new AJK_Recovery :)

It will have a nice feature set, including the option to auto-fix Status 7 issues.

It will be good while before it is ready for public use, but it will come :good:

Well some of you know about my camera issues. Finally got somewhere with warranty support. Straight Talk is gonna replace it for free. SWEET!!! Now my question is... ST told me that I have to send my phone in first, then they will send me a new one. Well I just called ST to switch my number back to my old ST phone and the automated message said my phone is on the way??? Then I talked to a lady saying it should be here by Wednesday. All this is surprising and great news of course but what about the phone I got now? I read somewhere on the web that they send you the new phone with a box to return your old phone? Anyone have any knowledge here on what the process is exactly? Thanks!

APN Settings

For some odd reason I was able to view the actual default APN setting after loading a few different roms and then reverting back to the backed up stock rom. I'm not sure how this happened. All I know is that via stock the option to view the settings was blocked. So I took a screen shot and saved it. The only thing that I'll note is that you need to modify the APN type line. For some reason if you input the settings as is it will not function. It took me some time to figure this out. I used the default, internet, mms, supl settings... Works Great...
