I don't agree to this theory. ...For some odd reason I was able to view the actual default APN setting after loading a few different roms and then reverting back to the backed up stock rom. I'm not sure how this happened. All I know is that via stock the option to view the settings was blocked. So I took a screen shot and saved it. The only thing that I'll note is that you need to modify the APN type line. For some reason if you input the settings as is it will not function. It took me some time to figure this out. I used the default,internet,mms,supl settings... Works Great...
You can see apn settings. ....only you can't change anything. ...I have stock rom without anything on them .....
