It's in the developer options section. If you don't have the developer options then go into about phone and tap the build number until it unlocks them.

Hey, I soft bricked my straight talk s2. I rooted with framaroot then flashed a cwm kernel that I thought was for this phone and it soft bricked. Can anyone help me. I don't have access to a computer, so I need something that is flashable thru the stock recovery.
First off. What kernel did you flash (and please provide a link)?

Second how did you flash that kernel?

System/media/audio/ui/PowerOn.ogg

That's where it goes on Samsung based ROMs. It should also work on CM.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1877270 I'm not 100% sure which tho because I download it with my S2 and since I can't exactly get into my S2 I can't find the specific kernel. I used Flashify from the play store to flash the kernel.
This is for an SGH-S959G. Please confirm that is the phone you have before following this advice.

OK. You're going to need a computer. Hopefully you have access to one from a friend or family member. Nothing needs to be installed on the computer (accept the drivers if the phone isn't recognized). But you need administrator privileges to use Odin so the library won't work. You need to either use Odin to install CWM then reboot into CWM perform a full wipe and flash the new ROM of your choice in CWM, or use Odin to flash back to stock (factory firmware). If you flash back to stock I highly recommend you still use Odin to install CWM afterwards. That way you can gain root again and upgrade your ROM in the future.

Everything you need can be found in the first page of this thread.

Currently running Cooked Rom and was wondering if overclocking and undervolting were possible?

Is there anyway to replace the recovery from the original post in this thread with the latest that's supposed to come bundled with CM10.2?
