Let me guess you were flashing and hit the go back button and it tried booting up instead of going back I'm a 4 time veteran of that.

Not exactly... I tried reboot recovery and that's when it happened. The bad part was i did not have a viable ROM installed. Had to go back to stock and start over. Stuck with jellybean for the time being as any attempt to use cwm 6.0.4.4-5 results in the same problem. As of now i am stuck on jellybean. I cannot upgrade my recovery

Odin the aj recovery it will work it's the 1 I had to use all 4 times same with me I had no viable rom installed when it happened

It's possible, but it would increase your flash counter.

It seems to still have weird issues while upgrading. Defiantly don't format before installing the new recovery (found that out the hard way). I think I was on CM10.1 when I finally got the upgraded recovery to stick. You may need to reboot, then reboot recovery.

Well i got cooked up and running with AJK cwm going on but if i install 6.045 and reboot recovery it won't boot. I'll just rock my old favorite until we figure out what's going on. I gotta get my butt in the bed.

You can flash 6. 0.45 now with no problems now that you have cooked back on

I've tried it four times now, twice in recovery, twice with Odin, and no go. When i try to reboot recovery it just flashes a black screen with that hat then cuts out to s2 splash screen.

- I'm stuck...

Edit: I'll try to get it figured out tomorrow.

Get back into recovery the ol fashion way use in the buttons volume up down power

Well i figured out the problem sort of (thanks @SteveMurphy ). The slim Kat ROM i flashed was twrp based not cwm. How it ever booted at all is beyond me but it did. Didn't last long. Lesson here is make sure you know what recovery you are going to need before you flash your ROM. It matters. At least with kitkat it does

Let me add to this one more thing i gained (lost actually) the process of going back to stock got rid of my annoying yellow triangle and my phone doesn't say gt-i9100 on the splash screen anymore since i rooted it correctly this time. It's a wonder i didn't brick this phone bad when i first (tried) rooted it

My favorite too, these days! Finally got everything straight w. St customer "service", what a horrorshow... 1st-world problems and all that, but damn.

In any case, got Cooked up and running smoothly, everything backed up w Ti backup.

I'm really liking the rom. Only quibble is the clock app, which I don't care for. Is it possible to trigger Timely when I touch the time in the status bar?

I did have one bug, I ran "fix permissions" in the Stweaks app, rebooted, and it would only boot to black. Ran again in recovery mode, no change. Was able to revert to recovery and boot no problem - god bless Ti Backup, had just gotten things like I like 'em.

I am curious about the permissions, but maybe I will just run from CWM from now on.

In any case, my sincere thanks to @razen_kain & @mr-cook; for my phone running like a champ and I wouldn't have the software or the ability to install it without them.
