No. Just out of my pocket. The screen is going dead so I think its good and done. I wish it was just the glass.

Yea I think it's 100 for a full screen replacement. Not worth it for a3 year old model unfortunately IMO even tho this phone somehow keeps on kicking

Dayum that sucks, well if you had the phone less then a year Samsung should replace it for no charge, if its older then a year you can find parts for it on craigslist easy! I always see sceens and diffrent parts up their and you can find videos on youtube to help you install it. If i was in your shoes though i would go head and buy a new phone, maybe this is your chance to upgrade to a gs3, 4, or 5!

Also everytime you buy a straighttalk phone you should get the extended warranty, reason is.. if anything ever happends to your phone, even if nothing happens, rite before the warranty expires (2 years after purchase) you can get a replacment, or better yet! Get the full amount you paid for your phone back!! Too good to be true, my last phone was the LG Optimus Q, $179.00 at walmart, when s.t. came out with the gs2 i broke my keyboard and told them i want my money back a month before my warranty expired, they sent me a check for $179.57 that i used towards the GS2, its like your loaning your money to use the phone and when your done with it you get your full money back. Crazy and the warranty is only like 15 bucks! But yea your str8, 6 months old you will have a replacment with in a week.

This is fraud.

You are not very wise to make a public confession of committing fraud.

This type of behavior is not condoned on XDADevelopers, and you should refrain from discussing this in the future.

And, I hope you will learn to conduct your life in an ethical manner in the future.

Lol how you figure, i dident brake my keyboard purpously, it broke around the time the gs2 came out, my point was even though it looked suspect a month before the warranty expired they still covered it. You guys are quick to jump.

Is anyone else having data issues? I've been on edge an awful lot in past few days and even my phone connection has gone in and out. Thanks for any replies.

I prefer twrp myself. The interface is ...well I just like it better.

I guess I should say I'm on 4.4.4 so I can't say what is better for cooked ROMs

I installed the twrp listed a few post up without issue is there a paticular reason to use cwm 6.0.2.7? Thats not available in twrp?

Sent from my SGH-I777 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I tried installing cooked with twrp 2.7.0.0 before and it will install but won't boot. I couldn't get it to boot until i went back to cwm 6.0.2.7.
There is a version of twrp that will work. I think it's 2.6.3.0
But if you want to try it with the latest twrp go for it but I'd have a copy of cwm on my SD card if i were you and nandroid back up. If you do, please share your results. I'm curious now...
