Hey guys, if some one is willing to port or build a cwm for my device what do I need to supply them with? I'm rooted now thanks to framaroot.

You'll have to adb thru the computer and get your partition table try the app too. But then you will have to use adb. Can you boot stock recovery? Google what I need and I'll check when I have time. I'll attempt at least

Just a few questions

No. Your apps go into an internal partition "data". Your SD card is for storage pics, music etc. Formatting it will have no affect. Your "data" is formatted when you select wipe data/ factory reset in recovery. I'm not sure what ROM your using but this seems to be a very common issue with 4.3+ AOSP.

I installed the CM 10.2 with JB 4.3 on a SG S2 SGH-S959G Straight Talk phone for the first time. Everything seems to work fine, but I'm not able to access my external sd card. Has there been a way of fixing this issue yet? Should I do a wipe data/factory reset in recovery and flash an older version like CM 10.1 then upgrade to a 10.2 to fix this issue? Or is there a way that I could mount the sd card so that my device could read it? Or is there another ROM that's just as good that I could if not better? Sorry for all these questions. I've been going through all these forums for about a week now and I'm at my wit's end trying to figure it out. I'm new to this stuff, so you'll have to bear with me. Like I said, I has t Samsung Galaxy S2 from Straight Talk and I was just sick and tired of having it stuck on that Gingerbread. Finally read up and found out that I could root my phone, which I did (check :D) customized my ROM and upgraded from Gingerbread to Jelly Bean 4.3 and now I can't access my movies, music, and books :( Can you help me?

How did you change the background of your settings? I like it.

I can try it. Though will it b detected with my cell carrier? I'm on Straight Talk, so that's y I've been using FoxFi. If anything, I can hopefully revert back 2 my back-up and Straight Talk won't cancel my service. Ugh! Decisions, decisions... LOL...

Try my kernel with philz first. It supports encryption I believe

That recovery is pretty nice. Only thing with long filenames it cuts off what doesn't fit on the line instead of showing the remaining on the next line tough to tell what file your flashing if you have 4 or5 files of the same ROM

Customize it, tons of options. I have same complaint but I use a multi flash folder so extra roms aren't in there
