Depending on when you got the sim card from straight talk the above might not work. They have changed their APN settings recently and if you're like me and have the older sim this new setup doesn't work. If you do a bit of googling you'll find the old settings out there too. Though I believe they are somewhere in this thread.

Anyone having issues receiving mms with the new sim cards? Straighttalk told me to call samsung and make sure MMS is activated....

I have cyanogenmod 10.1.3.

Sometime about a Network ID code for the new simcard. Sounded like the straighttalk lady didn't know what she was talking about...

They are sending me a new sim card. I'll have to see if that works.

I put my sim card in a nexus 4 and I am seeing the exact same issue.

For mms, I found that 3rd party apps have their own mms settings and was the cause for not being able to send or receive mms. If using a 3rd party app, go to settings and do a manual setting and input the apn info there. Otherwise try using just the native messaging app

How did you get the new sim card? Did you call customer service? Great to hear!
Yes way too many calls to CS. One they were going to ship me a new one but the dept to ship them was closed. Had to call again and go though everything thing again and they didn't want to ship me one. Then finally on another call they shipped me one. Super annoying. I was about ready to dump them and switch to AIO wireless... saving $5 a month wasn't worth it.

If they try and get rid of you ask for a reference number when you call back..
