Thanks for your answer, it's not worth it to work on the stock ROM I'm using now since I'll be getting MM soon, then I'll try yours.
What I meant for adding names is that the icons remain, but when you click on an icon to change the value, there would be the name displayed somewhere. I had no idea that the gear icon is burst hehe. Thanks for describing them!
ahhh okay i see will see where to add the selected item name

Sorry chaps, i haven't read the whole thread, but to me it looks like a bokeh due to F number. If anyone has ever played with F1.8/F1.4 you'd see similarities. Loss of detail in the fur looks more like lack of light than anything else. What you see in the picture is essentially a reflection of photons, fur is great at dissipating it hence looks like a lot less sharp than surrounding light stuff.

No it's not. I won't go into details but we found out it was because of the way LG implemented ISO and noise reduction. There is more noise reduction the lower the ISO. After ISO 450 you have less noise reduction. Tested many times with my phone.

Fair enough. I'll read through the thread later.

the first 4 HH are the luma values they handle luma noise the Cb and Cr are color noise Cb being blue and Cr being red

i would play with the y denoise scale value decrease to reduce luma nr effect then y denoise eges to make edges softer or sharper and weight to increase details

attached image of how i have my device configured it does minimal nr in the luma channel so i retain detail even with sharpness turned down.

theres also another culprit for details its something they call Adaptive bayer filter it applies smoothing to the image then " attempts to sharpen the edges i will see if i can bookmark it for G4 but with it an a couple of other stuff turned off output almost matches raw
Can u do it for lollipop plsss. because i change the files whit yours and camera is not working :( here are the original lollipop v10e files: https://mega.nz/#!sUQB1IJT!wJTDLHwItozo8Cn7WKbN52w1kb_F4CqzzLQwfjA8x34

That's crazy weird I didn't change nothing that would cause it to crash as for the disappearing camera try reboot again.

Did you set the permission correctly

Chmod 644

Or rw-r-r

I use root explorer

perhaps the libs.zip you gave was were from a different rom i just rechecked all the file even recreated hex offsets where the tables are found and everything is right no byte in wrong place

try compare stock libs with modded ones

like this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=65006316&postcount=427

or
this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64974634&postcount=413

i used G4 stock lib noise reduction profile on the M9 you can see what it does to details vs the modified lib V2/V1 this the best way to see the diff
i deed that but there is no diference, :( (and the libs have the exact size like stock)

Thank you !

@Ramsey if your on MM here are some modded lib with noise reduction strength reduced

and you were right for some strange reason this
Code:
denoise_weight. Effect: Decrease denoise_weight to remove details and denoise more. Data range: 0-1.
the values were higher on higher iso than low so it removed more details on lower iso weird

just copy them to /system/vendor/lib i modified upto iso 2500 :fingers-crossed:
Defcomg...I copied those lib mods into directory but i am using stock ap and also lg v10 apk that installs just like an app. I'm assuming v10 apk will use same /system/vendor/lib directory correct? I'm didn't install the ap you have posted for noinse reduction off. Is this working also in auto mode or manual only?
Are those values adjusted only for low light situation? Thank you in advance.
