Hi folks,
Just thought I'd share an experiance I've had this year with the above device.
Some of you probably saw I posted a help question relating to a sleep of death issue.
All of a sudden, after restarting the tablet, it wouldn't turn on. The reset button was useless as were the steps given to me by Sony support. My tablet was a complete brick; just a paperweight - no vibration, LED was dead, nothing...
I contacted Sony regarding a repair on several occasions but never heard back so I chucked the tablet under my bed and with a discount code for the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact in hand, I ordered one as a replacement to my Z2 Tablet.
I've checked the Z2 Tablet once or twice over the past 2 months and still, absolutely nothing, until this morning....
When searching for a pair of headphones, I remember I'd left the above tablet there, so in a last ditch attempt, I tried switching it on. Nothing. I then proceeded to plug the USB cable on and to my shock the LED notification light turned red.
I left the device on charge for a few minutes when the screen fired up and the tablet started. As if nothing had ever been wrong with it, the tablet now works just like it used to. Weird or what?
So after 2 months of being dead, it's suddenly alive again.
