Hello, I've noticed a strange line on my screen when the phone outputs dark content. The line is barely visible (on the photo it's bright because of my girlfriend's camera with nightmode).

With bright content I dont notice that line.

Depending on the refresh rate, the line seems to be more noticeable. (My feelings) 60hz = less / 144 = more.

Is this a hardware or software error?
Is there a way to fix it or is this a case for RMA?
Did someone else noticed such line on your phones display?

Thanks for your answers.

Best regards,
Dennis

mh.. whats wrong with the online support?

i sent a mail with my problems with some photos.. they replied:

"Hi there,i t is recommended to close “Low Brightness Splash Screen Protection” in "Settings-Display"."

i dont have this option and if i would, i dont think that would fix the problem... so i wrote back that i dont have this option....

silence since a week... even after 2 more support requests..

anyone experienced something like that with the support?

best regards
Dennis

I have a very similar issue but I'm not going to bother with contacting them as there's practically no point in doing so. It's definitely a hardware issue, unfortunately.

I'd rather have it defective than dealing with their customer support.
lel.

It's not SO annoying for me. I would keep it instead of RMA (Germany - China and back with covid and bla) if they can promise that the line will not have some follow up issues in the future.

BUT:

Not for the full price.

So. Any suggestions how else I get their attention?

Best regards
Dennis
