My best bet is to download ever file you need on you streak 7... Because there is an internal SD... Look for that one..check this out http://www.cesgeekbook.com/2011/12/root-dell-streak-7-with-honeycomb-32.html

I am having trouble just getting the fastboot to work. I hold the volume down and the power together and I get a screen

Red writing with information on the unit, build, battery voltage and 3g module FW version.
White Writing: Starting Fastboot USB download protocol

Then I connect the USB to the PC, drivers are downloaded and then I click the fastboot exe in the win32 section, and nothing. Any help here?

What are you trying to do? Fastboot is just the program but it needs a command to perform from the command line.

If your trying to install CWM, try this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1411193. Be sure the three adb files in the same folder as your fastboot file too.

Announcement: Future versions of Superuser7.zip will be renamed to simply Superuser.zip.

This is due to me being able to migrate the S7/S10/V to CWM 6.0.

I wont actually release anything until there's something that needs actual updating.
(unless someone reports that CWM6.0 doesnt like flashing Superuser7)

The new Superuser is now live:

Included changes:
  • Superuser7.zip renamed to Superuser.zip
  • Updated busybox to 1.20.2
  • Added support for the S10
  • Added support for the V

The old Superuser.zip has been renamed to Superuser-legacy.zip now.

The instructions in the OP have been updated to reflect all changes

If you have CWM or TWRP installed, you need to select factory reset from inside the recovery.

If you have a stock recovery installed, you need to select it from the bootloader screen.
