StreakDroid 2.0.0 ( aka GingerStreak ) Release Post
Official StreakDroid Website:StreakDroid.comhttp://streakdroid.com

A FACTORY RESET WILL BE NEEDED TO ALLOW THIS TO BOOT CORRECTLY DUE TO THE NUMBER OF CHANGES, SO BACKUP IS RECOMMENDED

( Disclaimer : As before, this ROM is heavily updated and still being developed at a fairly rapid pace. Bugs are listed below.)

2.0 > OVERVIEW/SUMMARY OF INSTALLATION PROCESS

1.Download Streakdroid5-2.0.zip from the links below
2.Boot into StreakMod or Clockwork Recovery
3.Select Update from Zip File > Select Zip File From SD Card > StreakDroid5-2.0.zip
4.Wait for installation.
5.First Boot may take longer than a normal boot. Things are being installed, stuff is being generated. Patience.
6.Enjoy.

Most Recent Version: v2.0.0

Known Issues:
Superuser seems to possibly have issues, cant seem to pin it down yet but seems that updating superuser from market helps for some.
GPS and 720p video REQUIRE the engineering baseband and dsp below to be flashed in fastboot.
Graphics performance is not as great as id like, still working on that though

little confused about the order for this. from what i gather i should
1.install zip with clockwork
2.factory reset
3. flash new baseband
4. flash new dsp
5. enjoy
is that about right?
also is this a factory reset "dell screen" or a factory reset from clockwork?

All works well except Bluetooth Voice dial

Hey Steve,

Great job!!!

Flashed rom, flashed baseband, flashed dsp1, factory reset.

All was working great except Blutoooth Voice dial force closes.

Nandroided back to 1.9.0 for now.

The baseband aftrer the nandroid restore is the new baseband ending in EVT3_GB_-US.
All is working though. What baseband is this based on? I was running 351 with no problems.

    OKIES

we have some very very very good news...

compass and Gsensor are working, thanks to the fantastic work of AWD_Maniac..

here's a very early kernel (its a bit slow, as I haven't tweaked it yet) that shows the code works.

    what doesn't work..
proximity sensor, light sensor, beer sensor.. (mine seems to be lacking that function at least.)

also you need to push the sensors.8x50.so to system/lib/hw/ and chmod it 644
(there's a libsensorservice, not sure its needed)

when I get a quicker kernel built I'll do it as an update.zip..

/me goes off and does little dance of joy!

first boot takes ages, also try running a factory reset from first dell screen

    wooosha

I have some good and some bad news..

first the bad, the update zip is going to take a couple more days.
    the reason being

the good; i have for the Dell gingerbread alpha kernel source built and running (and it runs really well).
unfortunately the sensors are a bit messed up, and I want to fix them. but so far the kernel is a lot more stable, and quick.( it feels like is Been overclocked)
plus now we have it working we can go to town on playing with overclocking and smartass and gfx and others driver fixes.
I'm currently using a kernel with per page tuning and disabled shadow writes...
