OK, so for one thing I cant mount an external sd (it shows up in my settings menu and show the properties and shows up on my computer when i plug in) but in cwm recovery i cannot do a backup because it said path not found for external sd. So, i went ahead and got brave and tried to install v1.3 with just a titanium backup for my apps. booted in to cwm, proceeded to flash from internal sd card, it started to go and then gave me an error prior to install. Do i have to have an external sd mounted to install? I dont know, by this time I am a little frustrated, what am I doing wrong, I am pretty good at this stuff but its not wanting to work for me right now. I am sure it is something simple but any help would be appreciated, thanks

Ok so reading.through the posts I see that this is not a honeycomb ROM. My bad, I'm on 3.2, silly me, well, I still have the as card problem anyway but I'll direct that problem to another forum unless anyone on here has a solution, thanks!

Why is the thread for the more recent honeydroid closed? is it no longer supported? it seemed it was a more recent thread, but is this the premier rom for the streak 7? btw, im turned off by the screen res of this streak 7... i am giving it to my girlfriend as a gift but it will mostly be both of us using it. in fact i ordered a nook color cause i liked the screen res :)

anyway, does this rom make the purchase worthwhile?

Honeystreak from tablet roms is the one to go with I was running this for a while and its only android 2.2.2. so you cant get talk with video but it is a fast rom check tablet roms you won't be disappointed 2.2.2 is not up to date holds you back can't get newer apps and 3d games

So I installed this because frankly, I thought Dell's stock Honeycomb was junk, and the app compatibility seems better with Froyo (probably because the streak is an 800x480 device).

Anyways, I was playing around with overclocking, and found my device to be perfectly stable at 1600/1600 min/max in SetCPU. Is this typical? I'm pulling Quadrant speeds in excess of 3500.

Was curious, is there a kernel for the Streak 7 that goes higher than 1.6GHz? I really want to see just how fast I can go with this. Alternately, is there a good tutorial out for compiling the kernel from source, and what to modify to overclock? It was simple with the OG Motorola Droid 1, but this thing is a different beast and i'd have no idea where to get started.

I did too but you can't run half the apps had to go back to honeycomb there working on ics for the streak now on tablet roms

Okay, so I'm having an issue. I've done a factory reset on my system. It is now asking for a password to proceed even though I had no security features enabled on the system previously. Can anyone help me out here?

Hi everyone can anyone update my curiosity please the dell streak 7 3g/wifi does the wifi n 3g work on the streak 7? My 3g works perfect but cant connect to wifi cant find no network after turn on no scanning nothing just blank so my question is can you use the wifi as well as 3g? Thanks in advance

Download kernel
Make sure if you have everything necessary installed on your linux box to build android stuff.
GCC is at 4.5

first command:
make ARCH=arm streak7_defconfig

second command:
make ARCH=arm CROSS_COMPILE=arm-eabi-

Good afternoon to all. Simple request.... does anyone have a copy of StreakDroid7 v1.3 GPU Edition? I need to install it on a friend's tablet and I erased my copy.

Much appreciated if anyone can help
