Hello

I was wondering if someone could help me.
I have twrp version 3.3.1.0 and a moto G5 cedric, XT1676
I currently have no OS on it installed and so obviously i can't boot into anything. When trying to flash a custom rom on it i get error 255 and when trying to install a rom via fastboot, it can't detect my device. Even when going to device manager i get ''Unknown USB device (device descriptor request failed)''
I have tried installing the motorola USB drivers but that didn't work, i've tried installing the universal fastboot drivers but that one didn't work, even on linux nothing was detected. it this phone just scrap now or is there anything i can do?
in the bootloader there are a few lines that catch my eye like
''AP Fastboot Flash mode (Secure)'' and
''flashing_unlocked''

Friendly regards
Ma5rick

Error 255 is because you are flashing a 64bit rom using a 32bit twrp

Please read rom instructions!
I also clearly state in my official twrp thread faqs that it will not work with 64bit roms and state that error!

The twrp you require for 64bit roms is
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1MLlljM7BzMj9Da57LeyBHyg81cHdW1cB

Once you have flashed this twrp and formatted data you can flash 64bit custom roms

As for not being able to flash stock via fastboot try a different USB cable
All you need is Motorola USB driver
http://www.motorola.com/getmdmwin

And fastboot
https://dl.google.com/android/repository/platform-tools-latest-windows.zip

Stock firmware can be downloaded from
https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/moto/cedric/official/

Use fastboot commands to flash
