Hi all,

I was given a Streak7 (with a t-mobile chip) with the notion of "you fix it, its yours to keep". Saw it was stuck on the Dell Boot Logo, looked up methods on how to fix that. I did the Power, Vol +...did every option. Nothing...The device can boot into fastboot with power, vol - but i have no idea what to do there is that can fix the streak7. I also tried the restore method posted by illdill, every loaded, looked as if it worked and that didn't work either. Also did DJ Steve Honeycomb thinking that would fix all, installing overtop of everything else, and i get a partition 2 BCT..FAILED!

So i am stuck...i've searched and search and i end up with the same results...a Dell Boot Logo...Please help?

sounds like you have a bad partition... have you tried the latest honeystreak? R2? Sorry to say but if you have a bad partition, that device is dead as a door nail... lest yee contact Dell and see if they can help...

I also just called Dell and told me just to do a factory reset and since i do not know the name of the original owner (got device from a friend, who got it since he works at the airport rental car place) They cannot send me a replacement device (understandably so in case he stole it and i'm the idiot calling in as his lackey or something) So i guess this device is a true brick huh?
