Greetings Earthlings!
Unfortunately Ive been having some trouble with the recovery on my dual sim G5s plus (sanders). I have left TWRP to load for 10+ mins with no success. It is stuck on the splash screen.
I have tried flashing different versions of TWRP and using "flastboot boot twrp.img" and no joy there either. My Rom (evolution rom) boots but is very unstable so I was going to install a more stable ROM.
I found this thread:

That says to run:
fastboot format cache
fastboot format userdata
i dont care about losing my user data as i have backups. but running these commands returns:
Formatting is not supported for file system with type 'raw'.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
