Getting really annoyed with the positioning of the 0.6x zoom camera.

Can't operate the phone one handed and not get my index finger in the shot when I'm cycling. Which is a lot.

Missing the squeeze function of my old HTC U11. Could take photos with thick gloves on without even touching the screen.

Sure I'll work it out, but for now it's a PITA!

what's the difference of squeeze to shoot vs just using the volume button to shoot on the Huawei?

1 Squeeze works with headphones in (for opening camera app)
2 Can't physically hold phone in left hand and press volume button without getting finger in the shot on 0.6x zoom

Shot in raw. Pro mode. The local BT Phone Box got converted by the local parish council in Princetown to a WW1 memorial. The inside of the phone box has more of the memorial too.

Macro mode

The detail looks great in Macro. Good lighting improves detail immensely

Aperture setting

The aperture feature would have to be my favourite in Camera options. I used to use the Google camera for the blur feature, but I think Aperture is giving me much more pleasing results. This photo is set at 0.95 aperture.

Night Mode

I like the detail, but prefer a smoother blur where there is motion. Looks HDR like.
Settings that camera chose was 1/3s, 400iso, f1. 8

48mp sensor

The big reason for me getting the Mate 20pro was to try this 48mp sensor. With adequate lighting this sensor is wonderful, but I'm quite enjoying the low light ability as well. This was taken as RAW shot in Pro mode and has been put through Lightroom. I attached the phone to a Feiyu gimbal.
1/50s, 50iso, f1.8
