Beating General DSLRs

My best friend has bought a new Huawei Mate 20 Pro, and the photos comes from the camera are lit. We literally did some photosessions with that camera, and when we saw those photos enlarge version after printing it, it looks glorious.


After all, it has 40Mp camera, what more one would need.

Awesome photo! your playing with fire there though!! After my mate 10 pro warranty issue after taking photos in water i wont be doing that again. (Phone was working fine for a month after the water session then wouldnt turn on one day. Huawei voided warranty as water was apparently found inside the phone, nothing i could do about it as water damage voids warranty, $500 later i had my phone back)

great dynamic range. Very soft picture though. the cat is almost blurry. so much so you deleted the picture.

i had this trouble with mine, the focus point often seems off for some reason?

Still experimenting with the camera, it certainly has its quirks, but the low light capability is impressive for a phone.

The focal point does play silly buggers though. I usually spam my shutter a few times once I'm lined up to help get a good one

Ok. There. Some photos i took over last two weeks since i got this awesome phone.
Beware of cat photos. There's a lot of them.
There were many other cool photos, but most are looking bad at full screen zoom , because of failed focus. Although it will be looking good if you're going to simply print it!
When autofocus sometimes fails, you can't notice it while you take photo. So it performs well, but not always nice. But my phone is still on 0.141 firmware, still waiting for latest.
Oh and also video focusing is really awful at complex scenes. Wish i could disable it, but looks like it's not possible. It's something like AI blurring.
