Russia. 7t 8/256 oxigen 10.0.7 global. The same situation. It's very annoying me. Ready to sell this piece of sh..

And screen like rainbow on the 50% and less of brightness.

Scrolling problem disappeared after whipping cache and erase data. Than i install about 20 app, and the problem was resumed.
So also on global same thing.
I really don't understand how people don't notice it. I tried after reset and even without applications installed the issue is present.
Yep display is very cheap, but I didn't see ever this scrolling issue in a phone. Reviewers are blind

I'm trying to chill but this device costs 600 bucks and I never saw this issue on any smartphone, that's a shame and a totally waste of time and money. Tested other two 7T in an other shop and same issues.

It's not possible to ignore it, you always look at the screen.

Oneplus did a terrible job with android 10 or they used a cheap display with some touch/scrolling issue, that's not accettable.

Of course no reply from staff in pm or in my feedback post (
https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/lag-scroll-android-10-bug-on-7t-series.1146895/)

In addiction there are over 10 feedback of other oneplus devices with the same issues, that's really a shame, this is the worst experience with a smartphone

No answer yet, but I don't think that they will reply to me.

I think that he is a real member of the staff (he has staff member under his name), but they all reply with the same message (the other one that contacted me through pm wrote the same).

In addiction I didn't still update because there are some troubles with the next update (10.3.0 but it should be 10.0.7 meh) and I'm waiting for an official response from oneplus team, then I will update

Updated mine with oxygen updater from playstore. Working fine.

I'm on a 7 Pro and my screen lags a lot when trying to scroll. It's particular noticeable in Assassin's Creed Rebellion when trying to select characters.

Overall, 10 has been a laggy mess. My phone ran much better on 9.

From my test 7 Pro on Android 9 didn't have this issue, but I'm very curious to test it with android 10 to understand if the problem is android 10

Updated mine with oxygen updater from playstore. Working fine.
Yep I updated but issue remains

There is a link to a video in op, and tomorrow I will do a better video with a better camera, because it's difficult to capture with the camera

Today I saw another 7T in a shop, still the same issue...really a shame
Odd... Did you check and compare to the video? I have this issue when on OOS but not on Omni or AOSIP, so definetily a software issue
After some days the issue is still not present on roms ? Thank you man

I started to miss some features from OOS pretty quick when on any of the roms so i've only used them a couple of days. During that time the issue never showed, overall animations and scrolling are much smoother than OOS.

What apps are you guys getting lag in? I'm scrolling through multiple different apps and I'm not really seeing anything. I'm comparing to 60hz pixel 3, and galaxy s10 and the OnePlus 7t is noticeably smoother than both of those.

I had the pixel 4 for a little while and they both appeared roughly as smooth.

Mine is the Canadian model (same as India I believe)

Ohhhhh nvm, I reread the OP and I see it now. I only really get it in my settings.

I probably never noticed it because I usually leave my finger on the screen when scrolling.

If I remember correctly it's something related to the interpolator. I'm sure it could be fixed with software.

It's noticeable in all apps, but in settings, Twitter and Chrome (but they are both not optimized app) is very very evident (scrolling on Twitter is junk even if I force 90hz).
Yeah I hope that it's software but until now they didn't fix it, and it's really strange for a "smooth" smartphone.

UPDATE: I tried another 7Pro with android 10 (not 9 as the last time) and...it has stuttering/frame skip while scrolling.

Also I did two video of the issue with a better camera and quality, now the stuttering is visible:
1) This is the complete video and here the stuttering is so visible, moreover you can see how to reproduce it (watch it on pc with full quality 1080p60 and full screen): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1RUf5DP3-qU
2) If you watch this slowmotion video you can see how the written "Batteria" (when it appears stutter in red) does a sort of jump because of frame skip (I also added a frame count so you can be sure that the video is original): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OGbqj29EXhI

So yes, it is a oxygen os 10 bug and OnePlus has to resolve it as soon as possible.
Moreover, oneplus staff contacted me again three days ago on oneplus forum for asking me other info/log about the issue.

i don't know what you are talking about, I don't even see any lag or skips in those videos you have linked.
i had a OP5 and I could clearly see the "Jelly Scrolling" issues that was very hugely covered in the media. so i don't think my eyes are bad.
you can convince that you are seeing something even when it isn't there. i'm sure you have seen the gold/white and blue/black dress.
just let it go

Man, I'm not a noob in android world :) and my eyes are pretty good (yeah I know the dress pics). Of course thanks for your feedback, but other people (friends, on some chats, reddit, op forum) noticed the issue and I made multiple tests. If you see it or not it's subjective, but that the issue is present is objective as you can see in the slowmotion and in this screenshot where there are spikes during scrolling (gpu rendering) so it drops frames.
I'm on EU oxygen version, you ?
Trust me, I did't waste my time if the issue wasn't so frustrating

After requests for other logs from oneplus on 25 December, they obviously disappeared and no longer responded to any private message. at this point I doubt that the bug will ever be solved, also because there are too few reports. That's a shame
