Stuttery Video Playback

Hey,

The video playback on the Lumia's in very stuttery especially when watching youtube and mostly noticeable the first minute. And no this is not a buffering issue. I've seen more Lumia 800's suffering from this issue, also with the latest firmware.

The firstgen devices seem to play video very smooth.

Does anyone know if the Lumia 900 also have this issue and if other second gen phones suffer from this issue?

I wonder if we can expect a firmware update which will solve this... its about time If the 900 does not have this than this will hopefully mean that Nokia has fixed the video drivers issues.

I also have know stuttery video playback on my Lumia 800 (Australia Telstra). It happens both on youtube videos and also when viewing video (on the phone) i've recorded using the phones inbuilt camera.

Anyone else experiencing this?

yep - its like its buffering internally - it'll play fine for 3-5 seconds - falter and do the same again. Not sure what the issue is - but i suggest that the issue is taken over to the "true" nokia forums where Nokia look at the feedback rather than just at XDA.

Anyone else experiencing this at all? I also have had minor slow downs sometimes when just browsing through the OS. My previous phone the HTC Mozart had none of these issues...
