it might be a silly question, but now reading a lot about ext4 and F2FS everything I am totally messed up. Below are the confusions/queries-
1. How can I come to know I am on which files system, ext4 or f2fs ? (if I have twrp installed)
2. can it be changed from on to other, if yes, how?
3. Two latest builds - stock 3.2.8 and beta 8 are on ext4 and f2fs respectively, is it correct?
4. If I am on beta8 (flashed via modded twrp), how can I downgrade to stock 3.2.8 ?

All are ext4 for me, although I am on beta8 (flashed via modded twrp), does it mean I can revert back to stock 3.2.8 by just clean flashing it (without wiping internal storage) , beta8 is very buggy ?

Huge games cannot download on beta 8 that kinda sucks for me i need to go bacm to 3.2.7

Choose a MM Rom
Then install the required Firmware and then the rom

They said this because Users with Bootloader locked need a special mm build.
But Users with Bootloader unlocked and twrp installed can Flash easily back

Why not freedom 1.7 it is newer(no Beta)

So just Flash the freedom zip. The needed Firmware is included in the zip

Stock 3.2.8 also has the needed firmware right, and it can be (clean)flashed directly ?

Buddy,
"wipe everything", that includes internal storage.. I read that it's not a good ideea to wipe internal storage.
But, thanks for info.

Its not a good idea cause all you data gets deleted but i have been doing this from years. I prefer clean flashing a new rom.

Yes all the OOS roms have firmware drivers inbuilt. If you are clean flashing you dont have to flash any firmware or driver separately.

Every oxygenos or freedomos zip have the needed Firmware included.
But for other custom Roms cm13, cm14.1 or aosp you need to flash the firmware manually. But in every rom thread are more infos

i think the official cm 14.1 also has firmware built in. I'm not 100% sure though.
