hi guys i'm here trying to figure out what's happening to my sensation. With vipers 3.0.1 or with viper 1.6.3 my sensation suffers of sudden shutdowns not related to specific actions or specific kernels, i try every kernel in venom hub (faux, bricked and now sebastian), my battery is new, i bought it in february (anker 1950)
they happen with gmail, with message, with calls, or even with locking button.
please help i can't go on with this type of issue.

Hello there, post your bootloader details, and describe the moment it shuts down/reboots. :)

That pretty "Thanks" button's waiting for U, in case I helped :p

hello guy!
my bootloader is:
s-off
hboot 1.27.1100
radio 11.24a.3504.31_m

there isn't a precise moment or trigger for those shutdown, for example this evening it happens when i open weather app from weatherclock widget.
yesterday it happens with springfield tapped out game clicking on a game element. i try to link all of these event but they aren't connected in my opinion.
i cannot provide a log because i haven't a precise trigger to replicate the strange phenomenon.
these shutdown are very random but they are very annoying.

I didn't mean the cause, i said describe it. :)

Does the screen suddenly go off and then reboot again? Or stuck at the last screen for a while, then reboots?

Have you checked if the battery is sitting tight in the housing? If it's a bit loose, try to put a small piece of paper between the battery and the housing to make sure the contact pins are properly in touch with the battery. HERE is the link where it is explained a bit more detailed.

my phone litterally shutdown, instantly black screen and no reboot.

my battery is ok with the pins
so this sounds like it's a loose battery issue, put a little thing like a credit card portion or something between the battery and its surrounding on top, so that the little gap between them is filled and the battery is stable and firm at its place. see how it goes.

Run a Terminal Emulator and try this command:
su
dmesg >/mnt/sdcard/dmesg.txt
logcat -d -v time >/mnt/sdcard/logcat.txt

Maybe the dev's find some info in the logs.
