It is recomended to use stock cm9 rom so that you can submit bug reports to yhe thread. I go for siyah kernel as it is stable and fast for me

With all my respect , u really can't ask a question like this .. Because we cant tell u that a devoloper's work is better than another ..
anyone who devolops here puts all his effort to help others and to make a suitable rom ,kernel, or even a modification . He himself and others test his work after he releases it to be downloaded by the xda community

All we can say is what kernel or rom we personally use right now , but we can not judge devolopers' work.
