I'm using one from invisishield (zagg). I'm liking the glass line from them. I might have overpaid, but I wanted one the day I picked up my phone.

I just applied the skinomi $15 protector. it's still curing so hopefully the bubbles work themselves out and there's no dust! i was sweating balls applying it in an amazonion jungle full of steam. very challenging to apply it evenly since there's a small gap from the edge of the phone's actual screen.

Hi
after 3 days I noticed eight white spots on my spigen GLAS.tR NANO SLIM.
they are 3-4mm small. and you can see them quite good when your screen is displaying something in white.

its not on (front) the glass so I can't clean it. its also not on the back side.

anyone else?

Casebase

Hey,

I got the Casebase premium tempered glass screen protector which you can find on amazon.

It is really easy to install and has a nice oleophobic coating on it. The problem is just, that the protector is smaller then the screen. For some people that may be good (if you have a case that overlaps), but i don't really like it. Furthermore the cut out at the top is not only for the speaker but much wider to the left, so the front facing camera is not protected as well.
I'll stick with it for some time, but maybe i'll switch to a spigen screen protector.

I am using the Glass invisibleSHIELD and it's one of the best I've used so far. It's pretty pricy but it also has a lifetime warranty in case it cracks so I think it's worth it.

how are these glass screen protectors as far as dropping of the phone? has anyone ever broken the protective screen but not the actual screen? obviously i have never used one of these, i have not used a actual screen protector since the 700wx days, but this phone is extremely slippery and since i hate cases, i wondering if these screens have ever protected the actual screen during a drop. thanks.

Go with #3. Its the best for the money hands down. Trust me, you will not be disappointed and probably buy an extra after you get it.
I agree.

I went went the Icarez tempered glass and it is awesome. The easiest screen protector installation I've ever done. feels great to the touch and the screen still looks beautiful.

Might have to dish out the $30 and get the Spigen. I love their products. I managed to get a small scratch on my screen within 48 hours of having it, so I don't want to risk any more damage, lol. It's small, though, maybe toothpaste will get it out? If anyone has any experience with removing scratches I'm open to suggestions.

EDIT: Would the screen protector conceal the scratch do you think?

I also got the iCarez one for the G3. For the price I'm extremely impressed. Fit is very good, no gaps around the screen. This was my first glass screen protector. Installation was actually easier than all plastic screen protectors I've used in the past. I got the protector before I got the phone so it was the first thing I put on so no issues with dust, fingerprints etc. I just put it on in a steamy bathroom to be extra careful.

I haven't noticed any issues with responsiveness. The surface is very smooth, my finger glides over it easier than the bare surface of my GS3. Claims to be fingerprint resistant, but I can get a lot of fingerprints on it pretty quickly. They do seem to wipe off more easily though.

For a while I thought I was just going to keep this until the Glas.tr came back in stock, but actually think I may keep it until it chips/scratches/breaks. For the price I highly recommend it.

The more I ruminate on glass protectors the less I like them. I'm not convinced they'll offer meaningful protection against shattering over a standard Zagg or something, and I've got a feeling they'll actually cost you more in the long run by breaking far more easily than the screen itself would (and much more easily than the screen with a normal guard on it). The whole "it shatters so your screen doesn't" thing just feels like flim flam to make the buyer feel like "oh crap I'm lucky I had this thing on!" when the thing shatters.

I am using the one in your first link.
The Spigen GLAS.tR NANO SLIM , a bit pricy but I've used them on my last couple phones and love them.
Had one on my S4 and it was terrific. I wasted a few dollars on an XtremeGuard that won't be used, gonna get another Spigen soon.

I have never ever dropped a phone such that the screen broke. This is regardless of whether there was a plastic film, glass, or completely uncovered. So for me the screen protector is more for scratch protection than shatter protection. IMO I really prefer the feel of glass over plastic, and the plastic zaggs scratch way too easily. I ended up going with an unprotected screen on my GS3 because I hated the feel of plastic and because of the curved front, there was no glass protector. I was hoping the gorilla glass would hold up but inevitably theres a couple scratches on it. My glass protector was only $9 so for me, the (marginal) difference in cost is worth it.

This is the one I'm running on my phone. I really liked the hinge installation method - it was quite straightforward to keep dust out of it. It fits perfectly under my black Diztronic TPU case also. Both went on my phone before I even charged it the first time. The shipping on the iloome predicted as a week after I ordered but it only took 2 days.

I'm around 2 weeks in using my eBay glass protector and it's been really good. No smudging or greasy fingerprints, and it hasn't marked at all. Think I paid around £8
