Hi guys, i have noticed that the Music app on my Z1 has been draining my battery quite fast and rather strangely since i updated to 5.1.1. Particularly, last night, i set the timer to 1 hour in the app so that it'd time off once i'd slept, but somehow the music kept on playing, and in the morning i found out that the phone has powered down (with only 1% left to spare when i turned it on). The power consumption graph in Settings shows a ridiculous battery usage by Music and Media (the system process accompanying the app, i presume) of 34% and 33% respectively. Furthermore, even if the phone didn't power down entirely, it'd be very laggy and slow when i try to use it in the morning, presumably due to the 2 aforementioned processes choking the CPU no less.
An interesting thing is, whenever i try access Download Music Info within Music, the phone would get quite hot and laggy, most likely due to the Media and Download Music Info processes. I think these things have something to do with the battery drain (despite the fact i always turn off Wifi and Mobile Data before sleep).
I tried rolling back the Music app to the factory version, but the problem still persists. Have you guys experienced the same problem, and how should i resolve this issue?
