If someone needs a script to set cpu speed, use the script in this zipfile and place it in /system/etc/super2/. Do not forget to set execute permissions on the file (i do this with rootexplorer)

What a great rom this is! Did anyone tried out a wifi tether program and got it to work??

barnacle works fine, configured and configured wifi card "ad-hoc" mode, and pacient.
Launch several times and will get.

Simply the best one for me....

I've had a lot of issues with CM RC1 :

- during videotaping the autofucus didn't stop working ...always "fllickering"

- couldn't play some videos (WHY ?!?! )

- couldn't watch any video on youtube HD cause it stopped on the 1st frame...

Dunno if I did something wrong but...I flashed back this one after a day...and it works PERFECTLY.

raso - find a keyboard you like in the market, and install it.

Then in:
Settings - Language & keyboard - tick the box next to your newly installed keyboard to enable it.

Then, on any application with a text input box (Google Searh, or your messaging app), long-press on the text input area, to bring up a menu with "Input method".
Then just choose your newly installed and enabled keyboard.

Which firmware is installed?

CyanogenoMod 6.1 Nightly Build

What version of wireless tether are you using?

Installed from Market.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. start wireless tether
2. grant root access

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expected: working normally
seen: device reboot automatically


It is working also with the normal release 6.1, so maybe also with this version because Azure 6.1 also restarted always with the old version of wireless tether.

Hi Manudas,

Could you tell me how I can change the supercircle battery in 8.4.2 superfroyo rom.
With the uot kitchen I can not find the superfroyo rom to cook a new battery and if I choose another rom base I get an error every time.

Hi there,

I'am very happy with the new ROM but i have 1 problem that i can't figure out. Sorry for my bad english i'm dutch.
When i play mp3 my phone hangs after playing 1 or 2 songs. The only way to start again is restart my phone by loosing my battery.
Does anyone have an answer, because i wanna use the music player.

Did u overclock? I am using this Tom oc'ed to 787 n having no prob compare to stock rom. Then again, I only used stock rom for only about 10min before I rooted =)

there is no Phone Contacts or My Contacts, i can only see Google Contacts, why is that???
i dont care my numbers gets synced with google but:
i want to join the contacts with facebook contacts so i'll have their pictures from facebook.
which i can.. but then i want to use other app for showing my contacts (like Dialer One) and it only shows the pic from google and not from facebook, in stock contacts i see facebook pics..
in stock htc rom and in cyanogenmod 6.1 RC2 where i had phone contacts i could see the facebook pic in every app..

if i go to contacts, then click menu and 'display options', i can see only my google account and no phone contacts..
if i add a contact it doesnt save it to phone.

does anyone knows how to fix it????????

that's just how it is with google since the beginning. HTC tweaked it a bit so that you can have seperate app such as people and friendstream to keep the person's info all together. google way is to log into google account, log into facebook and sync photo. from contact, you will see that all photo will be sync with the phone number you have saved.

i did what you say but it still doesnt sync the pics from facebook to google..
and when i edit a contact, in the facebook section it says "Facebook contact information is not editable on this device", what is that??

nevermind i've managed to sync my facebook pics with google with the help of this site:

it works even if the name is not the same, you can set a name from facebook to a different name in google..

had somewhat similar prob with you too. before you sync the phone # from google account, sync facebook first. that worked for me
