Super su is system less you can flash the latest SuperSU zip and you should be fine. It's debloated so it's missing some functions.
i have also installed the zip 4 times and seems like its not installing complete build. I know its debloated but very minimal apps installed. google not even installed. system not rooted, no superuser, no xposed, knox still installed. in phone info build does not show build.with.superRs.kitchen. did complete wipe and tried zip 4 times. even redownloaded zip.

The zip in the op link is dated 12/10 but on 12/14 you posted that you were upload and update the op. I just wanted to make sure I have latest version. if so any ideas why its not rooting with no superuser or xposed and knox still installed? Thank you for the help.
What do you mean it's not rooting? Flash the latest super su zip. Also install BusyBox installer.

I flashed this ROM last night and I really like it. I checked the settings and I want to make sure that everything is where it should be. Should SE for Android status be Enforcing? What should KNOX version read? Also, I saw here on XDA that google is pushing out an Android Security Update for January 2017 Released for Supported Devices, will this be able to be downloaded and installed on the Superstarz ROM?

Thanks. This is the stock ROM if Samsung releases the patches then I will put out another build. The stock kernel can't be modified without it not bootlooping.

It's on the thread that exists on XDA. The moderators decide if the phone is Worthy of its own dedicated section. Just because a phone is released doesn't mean it will get development support. so to not clutter up XDA with phones no one will develop for.
oh ok i see. hey i ran into an issue today where i got a message "custom binary block by FRP Lock." Is there a reason why this happened & if so, how do i prevent it? I do like this debloated rom you provided us but if this is what will happen later down the road again, should i stay in stock rom? I can't even access TWRP so i can't fix this unless i flash back to stock?

You have to deactivate Android device manager in security.

i'm trying to figure out at the moment how to turn my device back on though. It displays the FRP lock message and then it shuts off. i don't know what else to do beside going to download mode. do i basically have to factory restore and lose everything?

Update: I managed to get back in last night through flashing my stock AP through Odin. Everything works fine, it's just not rooted. Luckily my stuff is all there too. I'll look into turning off that device administrator security setting. For now everything seems great. Thanks for your time. Looking forward to a custom hopefully.

ok i don't mean to double post but so far i've ran into two issues. One being notifications are not displaying above the bar for certains apps, such as Offerup (no cha-ching noise). Mercari also seems to have an issue displaying your order. I couldn't rate my buyer so when i went back to stock, it was all normal. i wonder why its doing that. i am sure many other apps are facing this issue as well If there's a way to fix this without going back to stock, any help would be greatly appreciated. THank you
