ok i don't mean to double post but so far i've ran into two issues. One being notifications are not displaying above the bar for certains apps, such as Offerup (no cha-ching noise). Mercari also seems to have an issue displaying your order. I couldn't rate my buyer so when i went back to stock, it was all normal. i wonder why its doing that. i am sure many other apps are facing this issue as well If there's a way to fix this without going back to stock, any help would be greatly appreciated. THank you

This ROM is for people that don't need all the crap that comes installed in the phone and not being able to have space for games and other such things. If you need a specific feature I would suggest that you use stock but delete apps one by one until you are comfortable with the outcome. I don't use the phone anymore because I have the ZMAX pro. I see the future of Android development going in a different direction and I don't like the results. Samsung has made it a crime to root and the only way to not trip this frp error is to leave our phones vulnerable. You can't use a pin or password because Android device manager has to be active. So with that being said I would recommend that you use stock but modify it to your liking.

Hi. Thanks for your message. I figured out the issue with offerup & notifications. I reinstalled in addition to resetting settings. I am still experiencing the error message viewing one of my completed orders from mercari but Idk why. Just hope it doesn't happen to any other apps. I would like to hold on to this phone until a newer phone peaks my interest this year. I do see a better battery life than the full stock ROM so that's what is keeping me staying with your ROM for now. Thanks for your help anyways.

I was wondering if you had any knowledge of a step by step tutorial on how to use assayyeds kitchen? I've started using it a couple times and then it says that there's no new project or there's no current project that I'm working on help please???
Also, a new update has been released for the galaxy on5. You had previously mentioned that if there was a new update you would also update the the rom, which would be sweet! Thanks again for all your hard work we all appreciate it very much!

Place the AP tar.md5 in the place folder then select 1 and select the tar and let it extract. And you should see things happening in the work folder and go from there. There's is also instructions on the post where you downloaded it from.

On it now. Dirty install. Booted up almost as fast as normal. Adopted storage is fine. I dont really lile the pixel launcher, but it works fine. Im using wifi, sooooo.

I had a question for you. Is there a fastboot mode or something similar on this phone that enables fastboot commands? If there is, what is the button combination? (By the way, I'm using model sm-s550tl).

No just download mode to flash firmware from Odin.

I just permanently unlocked this phone (Galaxy ON5 SuperStarz ROM) yay.

You need the Google app. It only has play store functionality

Hey bro, yeah this is the custom ROM I was telling you about in message I sent you. The other one was the forum where I actually met you those are the only two I found . Have you found any others besides those two yet? If you see anything else let me know thanks!

This is it. It works fine. Its the only one I have seen. Im gumma look a little harder. If I find another, I will let you know.

That insecure boot image is still up. I flashed it yesterday. Doesnt change much. I get a warning about "kernel is not seandroid enforcing" but it works. I have a backup, ima flash it back now. I just like to check everything out.
Good job getting the knox apps out. Thing bootlooped on me every time I tried to oust them. And everything works. Great job, man!

I tried to unlock it after I posted that message and it worked, it is now permanently unlocked.

Don't know what T2 is so no.

T2 is an On5 model sold by walmart mobile. Runs on T-Mobile network. I haven't tried flash since around November. I'll see what it is....

Try it out, if it doesnt work, odin back to stock, then tell us if it worked ?
