I used A.R.I.S.E. Numbers zip alone it installs a Viper4android for arise the music player is esira arise backwards. Google arise sound system XDA

I'm familiar. By the way I'm stuck. Can only get to DM. Or a screen telling me I need smart switch. Smh. In red says SW REV check fail Device 2 Binary 1 and Nothing will flash just fails

I so wish I could go back to your ROM. Stuck. Can only boot recovery mode period. Besides emergency SMART Switch screen. I never downloaded the app on phone side. Any adb commands I get a device blocked. ADB sees my device. After your Initial ROM download I restored a restore I had saved. I wiped whole phone in TWRP efs all that cuz it was all in my restore. I had no data connection. Etc etc. Been trying to fix this. I'm hard bricked unless a box device like occupus or luss

I dont think thats how that is done, unless something new came out. You should probably use adoptable storage instead since it is a native feature of marshmallow.

I have never encountered this before. I don't use the phone anymore. It was having problems when I first got the phone. So I switched. I have never used smart switch.

I mean it's impossible to flash anything. Every thing I try ends in secure check fail in odin. At this point, I'd be happy to try anything to get twrp on this thing.

I finally got superstarz On5 MetroPCS ROM to flash. My problem now is my device storage is corrupted. Any idea on a fix? *****Edit***** got it booted. Now I have no connectivity. Might restore efs etc from a restore I have. Will post progress!

V4A is working fine for my S550T2 variant. On THIS ROM too!
I've attached a ZIP for you. Labeled 'SUPolicy.zip'
From a fresh, new ROM install, 1st) I always install ES Explorer from jump. Verifies root and install my APKs here. Ok

1. Flash ROM. Let it boot, and go through setup.
2. Flash BusyBox. I use SmartInstsall. Reboot.
3. I then update SuperSU. Reboot. Update SU binaries.
4. Reboot to Recovery. Flash 'SUPolicy.zip' Reboot to OS.
5. Install the APK of V4A. NOT the ZIP-Flashable.
Restart BEFORE opening Viper
6. After boot, THEN install driver.

LMK how you fare. Hope this helps!

Thanks! I've downloaded it. Before I try though I need to get my EFS and Modem figured out. Also the last Eng bootloader I flashed via Odin for frp lock screws me up. I try metro tar and flash in Odin fails.Maybe I need an Up to date tar firmware or try tmobile firmware.(I'm on metropcs)

Here is a problem I'm facing after restoring data to an installed app using Titanium Backup. Firstly, I believe the problem is because I restored data from a Lollipop backup to Marshmallow. I had this problem when I restored data to Fleksy which I restored from the Play Store. The error is insufficient storage although I have plenty of storage. I fixed this error previously by a complete wipe and reinstall of the Rom..didn't restore data to Fleksy. Installed and manually entered data..all good. Now, I have restored most of my apps and have encountered the same issue with Snap Tube. Of course I can wipe and restore again, but I will have to restore all apps hoping Titanium will do so correctly as it only happens for certain apps. I figured that if I delete all remnants of Snap Tube I could fix this problem. I went to to system using Total Commander and did a search for Snap Tube and deleted all associate files that showed up..rebooted. I have an apk of Snap Tube and I get the same error trying to install it..not thru Titanium. Is there a specific wipe in TWRP that would delete corrupted data allowing of install of the apk without deleting my other installed apps data. Thank you. Will be sure to thank multiple posts. I hope I explained my issue thoroughly. I would just like to know the solution for future reference if there is one..and yes I'm aware of the migrate data setting in Titanium which I discovered all too late.

Hey man been busy here, downloaded your rom again. Nice I was able to freeze and take off another 65+ apps, Plus some custom init.d and scripts. Plus I have totally gutted this thing boot, system, etc of any mention of Knox, KAP, TIMA. Working on a kernel now last month or so. Samsung put out just pure crap source. So many errors. Even the 2 on git hub, are error riddled and have problems loading. Adding cpu gov, hotplug, IO sched, Selinux always permissive, Gator, Patches, to name a few. It seems like everything they did not put turn on in kernel has tons of programing errors, even stuff thats on at default. I asked them for the actual source and which chain they used. Never heard back. So now I am pulling from a lot of sources. I was up to 40gigs in source plus 5 toolchains trying to get things running and my cat stepped on my computer while editing a profile home folder got deleted, lost all that and 15 to 20 kernels I compiled without testing first. Just got build system with llvm, NDK, Linaro, DespairFactor chains, for testing and about 8 kernel sources. I might post it, and strip down a rom. But I am getting a new phone next month as well. I was thinking maybe OnePlus Two. Once I get a kernel installed I am going to try to work on another project or two on this phone. But looking forward to getting off SamDung I will probably throw linux on it. Enjoy your new phone, I sure as hell will lol.

Recovered my lost password to xda just to comment here man, what you have done here is amazing. Theres what seems like nothing out the for this super affordable galaxy, a root a twrp and this. Your rom is great, I would call it a debloated stock rom but its much more. Iv been running it for 2 weeks now and havent noticed a hiccup. The battery life is extended greatly, with choice of launcher (dont know if anyone else noticed but the pixel launcher stock here is not downloadable through the playstore for the on5) so thankyou for bringing that to our device. Not having to mess with busybox is the beez kneez! Everything is very debloated, if theres a feature you want thats not there just add it!! Used to be a term we used *bare bones haha. Thankyou so very much for your time and effort and for sharing this awesome piece of work with us!! (And to the guy who speaks of compiling a custom kernel, i cant wait!!) Once again THANKYOU

I have had this rom up and running for about a week or so and not a single issue. So much better than the stock pile of crap from the box!! Your work here is a piece of art!! Any more roms or kernels you need tested please hit me up I'm more than willing and have the basic know-how if device bricks etc.....

Me too but the only app causing issues is mercari. Idk if someone else can confirm this but it's only giving me an unknown network error when I view orders I buy or sell, which is not good because I can't rate. I have to use my friends or siblings phone to finalize orders. Since it's only just one app i figure i stay on this rom. I am on T-Mobile. I also passed the issue to mercari team but I don't think they're doing anything to do something about it.
