[SuperSU][System-Mode][2.78 SR5] still not supported android 7 & 7.1?
I guess it depends. I flashed this SR5 with Tesla N (G3 D851) and it went without a hitch. ROM booted and SU works no issues. Was pleasantly surprised.

So test it out with various ROMs. Fingers crossed.

I just got a secondhand Note 1 GT-N7000 reportedly lagging. Now works snappy using NightOwl CM13 (Marsmallow 6) and root competed by using above superSu ver 2.76. Thanks.

Unless you have a reason to, just don't update.
But no, you won't lose system mode. I believe updates respect existing mode.

Hi, anyone use this SuperSU for Huawei P8? I've already unlock the bootloader but after the SuperSU installation i have always a bootloop...
Thx for reply...

Yes, i've tried 2.78 stable, rc4, rc5, 2.77, 2.76, 2.68, 2.46. Always the same result, installation ok but bootloop on reboot. Now i'm looking for a custom rom prerooted to try...

Are you not rooted and unlocked? What do you have installed?

That last statement, you had just made, had just thrown me off...

Cyanogenmod has always been, as i call it, a Root Ready ROM.

Hi @all

I only want to tell my experience with latest hiaeuhl cyanogenmod 14.1 (cm-14.1-20161214-NIGHTLY-hiaeuhl). If i flash the SuperSU SR5 2.78 zip file the device won't boot, it shows the boot logo but nothing else. After 12-13 Minutes i turned it of and flashed the rom without SuperSU.

The Problem is since cm-14.1-20161212-NIGHTLY-hiaeuhl, with the first nightly cm-14.1-20161211-NIGHTLY-hiaeuhl it worked fine.

Have posted this Problem in the Cm14.1 Thread as well.
