Xiaomi Mi6 GCam HDR+
NOTE: You will need to be rooted with camera2api enabled for GCam to work. Please install Magisk and use the modules below.​

Recommended APK as of 2019/05/16

Install the following Magisk Module. AOSP and MIUI All-One-Fix, by Alexey070315:

Do I need root?
Yes, you need to be rooted to enable camera2api. Root with Magisk as it makes everything a lot easier.

What is camera2API?
You will need to enable camera2API for GCam to work. It is not enabled by default with MIUI. You will be required to root your phone and enable it.
You can either download a magisk module to enables camera2api or manually add it to your build.prop. XDA has tons of guides on how to enable camera2API.

My screen is black?/App Crashes
Did you install the all-in one fix above?

Do I need Gapps for GCam to work?

New zip libs added to sensors centaur imx268 ofilm and sagit imx268 liteon, as some people were not able to use because of the existence of 3 different libs for each specific model. The stable global mod compatible with versions 9.2.2.0/9.2.3.0 and global beta compatible with versions 8.2.24 / 8.3.1, AOSP, download the zip according to the version of its firmware

After 10 days of zip testing this was the only one working for me on pixel exp THANKs :victory:

The only issue I found is the AF and touch focus not working well in slow motion video mode. When you open this mode the AF works one time them stop.

One workaround is turn on and off the AF lock. Everytime you do that the AF works for one time.


By the way, Is there any app that improves video recording quality?

Set HDR AUTO, hdr + action only when the flash is turned on (but the icon does not appear √)　
Back Camera photo resolution is set to (4: 3) 12.2MP will be black screen.
Slow Motion focus does not work.
portrait mode works fine in low and medium light. In good light it freezes ???( Not yet tested )
