I'm having a gps issue on 20/07 build. Not sure if anyone had it before, but my gps can find satellites relatively easy (tested with GPS Status). I'm from Brazil, and set it to search for satellites on South America with Faster Fix. Now it finds around 7 satellites easily, however it can't get a fix on a single one. In conclusion, my gps is completely useless.

In case anyone had it before, is there a fix?

i can confirm with that GPS issue. It will eventually get a lock, but it takes longer time.
and in may case, it's inaccurate for about 10-15 meters.
but i have to reconfirm once more about the inaccuracy, beacuse the weather in my area was also slightly cloudy when i performed the test.

Lock Screen

Is it possible that the Lockscreen with the Lock Ring appears before the screen with the Security Lock ( PIN ), when you unlock the DEFY ?

what ROM were you using previously before flashing CM10? and which CM10 build did you get?

at the moment you need to flsh back to stock GB sbf first to get your phone running again. and then retry again.

You flashed the GB kernel which is signed with a lower BL number (those flashable kernels are signed BL5, I think) on your DEFY+ which already had Gingerbread kernel and which was signed BL6. All that results in a bootloader error, as you cannot go to a lower BL version kernel than yours.

What you need to do is flash a full stock SBF and start over from scratch.

P.S. Get the same version of the stock ROM as you had before, that's the best way to go. You can find them all here - http://sbf.droid-developers.org/umts_jordanplus/list.php

You flashed GB kernel must be a froyo kernel for defy mb525 try.

I am flashing the stock using RSD LITE.
then CM9 then CM10.
i am doing the right thing.
And i am having Defy+ so is it necessary to flash a GB kernel before flashing CM10?

No dont flash any kernel. And you can flash cm10 after flashing stock. Why flash cm9?
