Hello this only works on 4k monitors use your surface pro 3 as a remote. This is done by the kernel command line in grub all you need to do is this after remix x86_64 add this append="video=HDMI-A-1:[email protected]" and that's it. Because the surface pro 3 screen is not 16:9 you will have two small lines on the resolution that is the best we can do.
