I meant the NF amplifiers in the infotainment itself. What is the power per channel. if it says max current 12A, then maybe it's 4×20W.

I forgot to ask something about the 1890 firmware installation. After the installation was complete, I noticed that a folder had been created "SpecialLogDirX" plus file "downloadPipe". Is it normal, and what is it for?

Hello guys, I'm totally new with the software updates and I am looking for a help. I'm driving Suzuki Baleno 2017 GLX bought in North Macedonia (Europe) and it doesn't have AndroidAuto. Firstly, I tried lots of apps and pre-installed AndroidAuto from my Samsung phone to connect my phone to the car, but with no luck. Finally, I understood that it's impossible to connect them, because of the old software my car has.

Currently, my car has the factory 0850 software version and if I understood correctly, I need 18xx versions to "unlock" all the new stuff this update has. I really want to have all those 2022 car benefits, so I decided to search a little bit more.

Today I called the official Suzuki service partner where I live and the price for an update to the 18xx software version will cost me 100$ and I need to wait for 1 month. And an updated SD card for the European navigation will cost me around 400$, which is crazy expensive.

I was reading lots of pages of this forum, and I found that there's an aliexpress SD card containing the needed files and it works just like "plug & play". I insert the SD card and immediately I will have the 2022 maps.

And even more important, I really like to have AndroidAuto in my 2017 Suzuki Baleno GLX. But, the 100$ price tag for someone to install it it's too steep for me, and the waiting period of 1 month is unaccaptable. The thing is, I am really scared to destroy my car if I try to install it myself, given the fact I'm not an IT guy at all.

What's the best software version for my car, any good videos that can explain me well the process of installing, is it worth it all to risk it, and what's the difference between my car's version (0850) vs (18xx) software versio

Download the latest version (1890) from this forum. Use the attached instructions to update (your version 0850 is very old) . https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XvU0y8QPxbal2SnlYLV0MDoPg1vZV5nI/view

Maps update
Buy this card from here https://www.smartsdcard.com/cid-micro-sd-cards/28-micro-sd-card-32gb-kingston-custom-cid.html
Before you press buy put this number 5d5342303031364712eac15a22013400 in the comments so that the shop will write it in the SD card.

You will then have to download from this forum the latest 2022 map and then copy it to the SD card. https://mega.nz/folder/kToA0TBK#h8ZATKePeTeElXdQBdQMiw (thanks to @Danuts35)

That's it!

I don't see any greater profitability in relation to navigation. On Ebay you buy the latest 2022 for €30, and on the other hand you buy an SD card with Custom CID for €15 and you are still not sure that it will work 100% properly. I would rather choose the first option.

Just today I received navigation 2022 from Lithuania. Infotainment did not recognize the navigation immediately, only after three insertions. As far as I can see it works for now. Likewise, the computer does not read data from it, but asks for formatting. Does this mean that it is the original Suzuki Bosch HERE navigation, or something is not working here. How can files from SD navigation be visible on a PC. The SD card is from swissbit.

Hello npapanik,
CID and serial number are not the same. CID is 16 bytes long while serial number is much shorter (about 4 bytes).
Under linux, changing CID id is done with command "./evoplus_cid /dev/mmcblk0 <the CID number>".
Changing serial number is done with command "./evoplus_cid /dev/mmcblk0 <the CID number> <the serial number>"

one quick question... on the SD card my Suzuki already has, can I brake the protection in order to delete old maps and copy the new maps and also change CID of the card to match the one of the new maps?
