I use ok google all the time with directions, fact finding and stats.

In my opinion people who hate these things (with my own experience) don't take the time to get to learn how to use them - quickly get frustrated then move on hating. I have family members that use these features ALL the time successfully. I am usually not in a place where I can use them - but when I do use them they work for me.
