Swap with sd card class 4

I have a sd card class 4. Can I use swap ?

technically, yes. and it will work. but it'd be pretty slow. class 6 and higher is recommended for swap. best if you use a class 10 sdcard.

I got sd card class 4 i use swap 96mb and all work, only when i connect to my laptop i wait 30sec -1m when i get full connect. And no u dont brick ur phone.

I got 256 mb with 40 swappiness haha
For comparsing between class 4 & 10 (I have both ©4 & ©10 sdcard) a ©10 is up to 3 times faster in write & up to 4times faster than ©4 in read (write 8mbs ,read up to 30)
Better to turn off swap when mounting to pc

I used 256 MB swap partition on class 4 SD card with swapiness walue on 35. I used it with miniCM10 and nAa kernel. A swap partition doesn't slow anything when conneting to pc.

Using 'bout one year and its still alive.
I use Swap for highend games,multitasking otherwise ill turn it off.
+ I spend 4 hours per day to download !!!

But I use swap for use rom CM10. It's mean I have to run swap usually
