*SWApp Link dev update 0.935b*

You can now choose the clockface (from settings).

The clocks in the list are real clock showing the actual time ;)

I have more clocks to add.

Credits to +Daniel Ortiz and +Roy King for those first clockfaces.

If you want your own clockfaces added to the app, send me your files:
https://plus.google.com/101149847908870195450/posts/jfFJts5bQDW

There is a slight bug: when you choose a new clock and come back from the settings the clock take some seconds to update. I will fix this, but i'm taking my GF to the cinema and wanted to send you this update before i come back.
If you need help designing watch faces let me know I'd be willing to help out. Just tell me what to do (files to supply etc)

Cheers :good:

*Shake it !!*

*SWApp Link dev update 0.936*

* On main screen and clockface: shake to toggle Voice Control On/Off (to be enabled in settings)

* On Notification, Shake to Dismiss

I will add more implementations in the app, like in media player control.

*i'm not lucky !*
Indeed my sensors seem to be dead, it doesn't work for me :(
thanks +Derek Serianni for testing the app for me !

if it doesn't work for you, you can try this app to check your sensors:

i managed to link the phone to ts. however there is an incoming call, ts will not show. is that a norm or there is setting i miss out?

likewise, is there notification on the watch for other messaging apps like whatsapp or line?

pardon me, i am a noob.

This is a very useful app - I have managed to get the features working and particularly value the low battery indicator and sms forwarding.

I haven't tried the clocks and shake it function. It would be great if shaking the watch turned on the clock so I don't have to press the button.

I'll send a small donation your way :)

Thanks for the donation !

the omate has a problem: the sensors are unreachable when the screen is off :( otherwise i would have done it..

Hi Cyrilp, i did enable the call and sms. seems like it does not forward using bluetooth. currently i am using ts as a companion.
i do not intend to put in the sim card.

2) for the 2nd query is in this example, when there is a whatsapp notification on the phone, is it able to forward the notification to the watch too?
Thank you for your help.

this is strange for call and sms. is "listen to linked device" enabled on the watch ?

for wathsapp, you have to "enable access to notification" on the phone, then "select app to listen to" and selec whatsapp

thank you so much.
manage to set the access to notification working.
as for the call and sms, it is being linked and enabled.

currently i am using note 2 (rooted with stock).
i am not so sure if this is a problem.

You know I am one of your biggest supporters... but I have to ask a question as perhaps I am missing the point....

Why all the concentration on the clock faces?

I totally get the "companion" stuff where we can see notifications on our watch when things go to the phone... but why all the work on the watch faces?

I only ask this because I don't quite get it... (or maybe I am not understanding the intention fully)

I ask because for ME, my lockscreen is the Omate watch face so that is what I use when I want to see what time it is. (A simple push of the top button)

In order to use your watch face, I need to push the button, unlock the screen, and then trigger the app. Lots of steps to see the time.

Is it possible I am just an idiot and don't get the concept?
(Which wouldn't surprise me in the least) ;)

I apologize in advance if this offends you in any way.... I really don't mean it this way so please do not take it as negativity towards your hard work.

Cyril, is the volume profile link (silent vibrate normal) still on the roadmap? That was one of the features I had really been looking forward to as it is just one more thing to do when you need to be silent.

I've been playing with this app and I too wonder how exactly the UI is supposed to work. Maybe this needs to be in the FAQ or user manual?

e.g. when I hit the power button on/off (upper right button), it now returns me to the app launcher and not the clockface that I'm used to seeing. This isn't the desired behavior. I don't want to have to launch SWApp Link to see the current time at a glance.

hi, i have spent some time on the clocks because i actually use my app more and more as a frontend. I have disabled the lockscreen. so when i push the watch button, i get the clock (from my app if it had been launched before) exactly like with omate lockscreen, and every features of my app can be accessed directly and even with vocal control. When using the watch as a companion i like it this way

BUT every time i add a new feature i let the user the option to use it or not. This is the case for the clock. If you don't want to use it you can just disable "show clock at startup"

don't hesitate if you have other question or suggestion. And no need to "apologize" ! on the contrary i'm happy to be able to clarify things. (which might be useful for others too)
