*SWApp Link dev update 0.93*

*SMS Notification*

SMS Forwarding has been replaced by SMS Notification:
Before Sms were forwarded to the linked device as an SMS, with the sender name before the text.
Now when the linked device receive an SMS, a splash screen pop up on the local device and give the possibility to make the linked device send an SMS to reply.

Do I need an active SIM card in my Omate for this to work?????????????
For some functions, it seems yes. For remote call info and remote SMS view, no. Remote battery level, remote device scream (locate) and remote device GPS, also no.

Remote loudspeaker and remote microphone, I believe require both devices to have SIM. But I'll let Cyril tell me I'm wrong; this is based only on my own testing. :)

I'm liking this app more and more. It is by far the most reliable of this type of app I've seen.

veeeeery veeeeery good companion app. Big advantage that you dont have to connect via bluetooth. So have a very wide range.

Thanks a lot to Cyril for this excellent work.

For the phone notification Ive a little issue. Notification comes too late to react. appr. 10 to 15 seconds after the first ring on phone.

Second, would it bei possible to create/integrate a logbook for incoming calls and SMS? When I swipe away a notification, it vanishes forever....

Not sure how it would work without an active sim if it links by the number in the "linked device number" setting.

Because it can also link using push notifications using the section above. That means it will only work in places where the watch has wifi internet access but that is a fairly large number for places for me.

What features work that way for you? Reason I ask is my sim month is coming to an end and I'm debating keeping it or not. Not sure if it's worth the 25 extra. For now I've been using tablet talk for the sms. But there's a lot of features I like about this app.

sent from my note 3 running beans.

*SWApp Link dev update 0.93b*

*Speed Dial*

Now when clicking Remote Call button you have the choice to open the contacts directory or the speed dial Page.

*Added Button Remote call on SMS Notifiation*

In case you want to call the sender of the SMS instead of just send him a text. Will remotely trigger a call on your main phone.
Useful for example if you have a BT Earphone, or if you are connected to you car BT...

The features that need a sim card are Call Forwarding, Microphone and Megaphone as they need a phone call to work. I will update first post.

Loving this app. Couple of new feature requests, of course...

Have you considered making the notification tone configurable? Possibly splitting it and having separate notifications sounds for phone call versus received SMS?

Keep it up - it's great to have an active app dev around! My smartwatch feels a lot more smart.

very strange. Call and SMS notification are working. In both directions. While I get the call popup from TS to phone immediately after the phone rings, from phone to TS has a delay between 10 seconds and a minute. Sometimes there is no notification on the TS.

I have updated to the 20140412 actual version, but still this issue.

Anybody here who has the same? I m using a Zopo DualSIM phone ZP980.

Anything I can do to shorten this delay?

When your using this app connected to your WiFi network. Once its set up u can disconnect WiFi from your phone and close the app. You still recieved notifications on your ts as long as your connected to WiFi. Awesome job cyril

I'm relying on Google push notification system. When there is no push for a certain amount of time, the first new on may take some time to be delivered. But then, the following ones should be almost instantaneous. I will add a "keep alive" function that will send ping message at intervals to prevent this. (user enabled)

But it might be due to you phone configuration and how deep it goes to sleep when the screen is off.

yes the app doesn't have to be opened, it relies on Broadcast receivers that are triggered by the incoming push notifications.
