SWApp Link: The Best Companion App for your SmartWatch

Since few days (even with newest version) I have lots of troubles with communication with Push.
On both devices left square is green (so I guess device see server) and right device is red. And of course notifications are not passed (as well as battery queries - I always use it to test "connection" between devices).
I don't know if this is problem with Push service or it's mine configuration that are failing?

No I have version 0.99cc3 which is what the play store gave me last night, I will try this version then

I can keep up with your updates, feel like im in a candy store

Ok got it installed and it connected instantly, even better than before, didn't need any teasing at all

Will have a play with it now...

EDIT:

My whatsapp notifications are displaying on the TS but then closing back to the clock screen within a second... it's like playing snap chat but quicker

I am having trouble connecting with these new updates. About every time I start the app, I get the window where you choose which device to pair with. It also sometimes harasses my phone with constant bluetooth pair request. Unpairing and re-pairing seems to work, but for how long. When booting the TS I always get the wrong clockface at first.

I've had the same BT pair request issues for a few days also. I just updated the app from the Play Store a few minutes ago and it seems to have fixed that.

Over the last few releases. the clockface doesn't work in my phone (Galaxy Note 2 with stock Android 4.1, rooted). The screen just comes up black, both from main menu and from the settings "Select Clockface" link. The watch shows the clockfaces normally.

I just tested SMS conection and it works! Nice! But it need some more polishing I guess
First of outgoing Call and SMS notification (I haven't tested apps notification yet) generated 2 SMS per action.
Also (and this is not only for SMS connection, but for call connection) - at the end off call, additional call notify is generated.

So now when someone is calling, this SMS exchange take place:
SMS 1) Phone->Watch: Incomming Call Notify
SMS 2) Phone->Watch: Incomming Call Notify (extra one not needed)
SMS 3) Watch->Phone: Reject Call Request (now I reject call on watch)
SMS 4) Watch->Phone: Reject Call Request (another one send)
SMS 5) Phone->Watch: Call End Received
SMS 6) Phone->Watch: Call End Received (another?)
SMS 7) Phone->Watch: Call End Received (and another)
SMS 8) Phone->Watch: Call End Received (and one more)
SMS 9) Phone->Watch: Out Going Call Notify (this one generates ANOTHER "fake" call notification on watch)
SMS 10) Phone->Watch: Out Going Call Notify (and another one)
Now I have extra two overlapped call notification on watch (even thou call have ended) so I "dissmiss" them with call reject
SMS 11) Watch->Phone: Reject Call Request (first "reject")
SMS 12) Watch->Phone: Reject Call Request (duplicated message)
SMS 13) Watch->Phone: Reject Call Request (second "reject")
SMS 14) Watch->Phone: Reject Call Request (duplicated message)

So now problems are:
1) duplicated mesages
2) extra fake outgoing call notify at the end of call (I think not connected with SMS link, but general)

PS. As for app icons not available on SMS link, application could cache icons when there is push or BT connection available, and reuse them during SMS connection

I've also noticed if you're using the white background theme and add contacts as favourites to text the text doesn't display at all. Also in the newest EA version my lockscreen lights up but now I no longer see Messenger alerts come up straight on the screen. What gives?

Allow me to quote myself:

Same thing happens to me.
I get the notification at the exact same time the screen turns on.

I doubt this is a bluetooth problem because if I receive a sms and go to plane mode on the phone, the notification still appear when I turn the swatch screen on. (then, swapp link crashes)
If I do not turn the screen on, I still receive the notification, but several minutes later.

Also, bluetooth auto-reconnect should not ignore plane mode.

Completely redone the theme engine to make it easier to add new items. Now almost the colors and icons of the app are customizable (i will post more information about this later)
Added icons in the settings to make them easier to browse. User can disable them in UI Settings
Bluetooth Virtual Leash is fixed
Launching remote or local app from notification is fixed
Getting incoming notification over the clock when "use as lockscreen" is enabled is fixed
Turning on the screen on incoming notification didn't work for some devices (Gear, Pine) now it's fixed
Marking all Notifications as read from within a list doesn't let a blank screen anymore but go back to main notification management screen
Exiting the ringing "find my phone" or "timer" alert with back or home key now stop the alarm
Megaphone feature icon was missing since last icons change, it's back
Added mini help for notification management (long click the icon)

When I connect my phone (note 3) with the truesmart, the lockscreen disappears in my phone, when I turn the screen on it just go to my home page instead of the lockscreen.

Am I the only one who experiences this?

I know you are so busy on adding some of our requests. I was just wondering if you can add the character count on the SMS to make sure that I am sending 160characters and also an option to delete the Notifications because I have almost 500+ notification that I cannot clear. With this version, the app crashes trying to open it

Edit:using the version from your link the app works OK. It seems the issue was with version in the playstore

2 possible bugs happened today:

- click to write sms
- long click on recycle icon => crash
- choose a contact from recycle
- long click on contact => crash


- receive a sms from Alice
- start a reply to Alice
- receive a sms from Bob
- reply to Bob
- end reply to Alice
=> Bob received both sms, Alice none.
